Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, Roku, Kodi and the like

"Legal" you said? I think the cable company might not see that the same way. :) -
Built for the playoffs; physical and finesse.

I'm splitting time on a few things: - Mastering Git (it's a source code/document revision control system; it's mostly used for coding, but you could use it for documents (Word, etc.) if you wanted - you could go back to any version of a file you check in and get it back) - The Man in the High Castle (I've watched some of the series on Amazon and decided to (very slowly) read the book) - Chaucer's Canterbury Tales (a modern translation from the guy listed above)

People you contact a lot you probably like. People you like probably share common interests. When your friend likes/buys something that Facebook thinks is a common interest of yours, you'll see ads for that thing. Advertisers are happy because they feel like they're reaching people that are more likely to buy their product. No call: from what I understand, those "same area code and exchange" spam calls largely come from overseas. They don't exactly abide by the Do Not Call like. I saw that, and I don't know if I have a good answer. My best guess is something in your profile got corrupted and it either started a new profile for you. It's possible a disk is going back, what's you backup solution in case the system dies? That's impossible; it's not like the scammers can just use an app to slurp contacts or buy people's contact lists from Facebook. :)

A simple way to say it is the D couver the Wingres and vice vresa, and the centres cover each outher. Even if that's not strictly true, in the defencive zone one of the forwards has to account for the 3rd forward while the D have the outher two. * Note I used Canadian spelling in the post

I was under the impression that the USB port was only for power on those (my Roku streaming stick is my only experience); if you plug the USB cable on the stick into a wall USB charger (like from an old phone) it'll work fine. The video works via an HDMI port on the TV. I have a Roku something that's 4k compatible, but more important to me is it has a wired Ethernet which is more stable than Wifi. Also, the screen casting thing with the Roku looks a lot better than Google Chromecast (which I have built into my TV). The Chrome cast from a browser via "tab cast" only does 720p from the looks of it. Both have their uses. I don't think anyone has mentioned Youtube TV yet. I believe it carries all the NBC hench-channels so you'd be able to watch the hockey playoffs. Kodi: When I've tried Kodi, it's been hit or miss whether things actually work; maybe I need to try again if people are having luck with it. Also, what's the legality of "free"? There is certainly free content available for Kodi, but once you started talking about getting cable streams, you were veering into gray (or black) areas. I think the VPN is the important part there. Xbox, PS[3,4], Roku and Chromecast have native clients. I don't think Amazon Fire does, however. My config: FIOS internet, NHL.tv, Prime video, Roku, and Chromecast. If I get to the point where I'm worried about NHL playoffs, I'll probably do youtube.tv or some other service that's month to month. I have a Buffalo DirectTV login that I'll occasionally use to watch the Sabres on MSG if they're playing Philly or on NBC sports. -
On my Android phones in the past, pop up adds could always be traced to some questionable app I installed in the past. Where did you hear about Google Auto Ads? A quick Google turns up nothing, and frankly I don't think Google would alienate their users quite that forceably. :)

Looking at Taro's signature, I think it's his baseball usage report. Error in the 1st, Error in the 2nd, and bench for the remainder of the game.

Youtube has reinforced my belief in humanity.

IIRC, he was UFA so canned seems like a pejorative term in this case. The Blues didn't resign a rental that didn't work out.

Hmm, I wonder if I should adjust the Lost Point Countdown next year. :) Also: I love how the NHL makes it nearly impossible to find the regular season standings now. I had to Google it, and the NHL site didn't come up.

Movies / TV Shows - I Have Watched / Plan To Watch

I'm not sure about power fantasy, but RPO and Armada (another of his books) follow similar scripts: teen kid who games too much is vindicated. I chalk that up to "writing what you know", but I've never been one to read a ton of subtext into things so I'm sure to be missing things. Haven't seen the movie, read those two books. They were fun enough for what they were but they felt like a teen writing with a bunch of cliches (see: Eragon). You can release just about any fantasy or video game movie and a certain population will eat it up. :) Armada Spoiler below. -
The Season Finale GDT Buffalo at Florida 4/7/18 7pm MSG GR

Man, I had to look that up. Been a long time I did anything in Java. I do like the first Google link is, "java - When does System.gc() do anything", LOL. As for scrap and re-implement, we're in the process of re-writing all our Ansible playbooks/roles anew using the things we've learned to make them bigger, faster, and stronger. We could take what we have and tweak, but clean-sheet seems the way to go. The first part has been to build some stand alone systems entirely using the playbooks. It's strangely gratifying to do a minimal install on a piece of hardware (which I think I got the custom installer working tonight so we don't even have to install that by hand), run a command from another machine and 30 minutes later you have a fully configured system with 10 VMs running. A second command on the host itself and the VMs are all configured 30 minutes after that. -

Maybe not in machinery, but there are certainly times in software where it's more effective to throw everything out and start from a blank slate. I'm not ready to apply that to sports, though. -
You know, by this logic you'd make a perfect #1 for the Sabres.
-
I'm kinda surprised you didn't vote for yourself. In the "hate to see" portion of the poll.

24 hours kid-puke free! :)

Nice LTS. Good to see the Sabres draw a good matchup for one of the last games of the season.

LOL! RosePIe update: It's probably a combination of things; she did have her daily ration of 3 pieces of Easter candy this morning (that's why it was molten chocolate, and she usually wats them later in the day). She also now has a fever and is miserable, so she's sick too. Ugh, can I stay at work until after bed time?
-
That seems to be the area where it's hit or miss. I'm not sure of the stats, but I bet it's less than 50% of players picked there play a large portion of the next season.
-
I don't think so this time; we were in traffic that was moving slowly. She has had car sickness issues before, but not often the last couple months I've been driving her to school in the morning.
-
Yesterday, halfway to taking RosePie to preschool, she starts complaining that her neck and/or throat hurts and her stomach hurts. She's been around her sick cousin and an indoor playground this week so it's entirely possible she's actually sick. She's also out of it, so I drive back home to drop her off. She's OK when she's at home. Faker. This morning, we get about halfway to preschool and the same thing happens. I tell her she's fine and she shouldn't lie about being sick. Molten chocolate lava puke all over herself 30 seconds later. I do my best to clean up on the side of the highway and then back home to drop her off. Primary complaint: the person who designs car seats that simultaneously collect molten chocolate puke in places that are impossible to clean up and yet have enough holes in the bottom that plenty leaks out. Luckily, I have a tray-like thing under the seat that managed to collect it before it got further.

OK, so stay away from Josh *AND* Jake Allen in the draft/trade?

GDT: Rochester Ameri... err Buffalo Sabres vs Sens 4-4-18 7:30p EDT

Hey man, that's not the SabreSpace inclusive atmosphere we're trying to foster here. I think people can hold their breath in any manner they like. If they have the willpower to actually do it, they'll just pass out and start breathing again.
