Overnight oats. Mix oats, milk, and chia seeds into a cup/jar at night, refrigerate, and they'll be soft the next day. Add cocoa nibs and shredded coconut if desired. Also, grape nuts. Also also, I eat breakfast like a person twice my age.

I'm at around 4 of 10, but I think that says more about me than the team. I'm considering cancelling NTL.tv since I just don't see myself watching enough to make it worthwhile.

For a awhile the schedule was 8 games against divisional opponents "to build rivalries", but at least since going to 4 divisions that hasn't been the case. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Season_structure_of_the_NHL

NHL.tv and some Rolston-era games?

For his sake, I hope his number is somehow tied to his games lost due to injury.

Best of Luck NS! I had the full glory of home ownership this weekend. Spent Friday from 11AM until dark digging a drainage ditch my yard as part of my battle to get RosePie's swingset and our deck stairs out of the mud. Then spent a lot of Saturday clean the garage and basement. Finally, spent much on Sunday continuing the garage and grocery shopping. This is the LIFE!

The NFL did me a favor by having mobile streaming cost money, otherwise I would have been listening to the game while I was cleaning the garage. I suppose I could have used the laptop (because a laptop on wifi is fine, a phone on wifi is not), but by time I thought of that I saw the 2nd quarter score.

And even Yates' was an homage to Cannon Ball Baker, who rode cross-country in 14 days on an Indian Motorcycle in 1914.

Week one, the Bills start Peterman. After the first series: Allen: Hey Petey, it looks like on 2nd down they're bringing pressure from the weak-side. Petey: [staring at the tunnel entrance] My God, it's full of stars. Allen: OK, so on third down; hey, congrats on getting to third without an INT; they move the safety like they're going to double team, but then he jumps back just as the play starts. Petey: There's Movement All Over the Place! Allen: Anyway, on the next series, make sure to look for the inside linebacker as he always taps his nose when he's going to blitz. Petey: [stares right at Allen] GAME OVER MAN, GAME OVER! These teaching moments brought to you by #onebuffalo.

Who Will Have a Better Season - Bills or Sabres?
MattPie replied to GASabresIUFAN's topic in The Aud Club
McCarron trade made this vote a lot easier. -
They've been doing that for a few years now. It's handy for me as I don't have cable, but it only covers what's on TV in-market so I get a lot of Iggles, Jets, and Steelers, and Pats games.

RosePie's annual doctor check-up this morning. Besides having her gets shots and screaming, they had us in the Flyers room. Ugh. Fat-head posters of Ghostbear, Flyers logos everywhere, orange walls. At least there's some amusement that the Sixers room is the bathroom.

I think he knows. However, Peca made a career out of what would be considered questionable hits these days. I think Kaleta watched a lot of Peca growing up and modeled his game after him.

Fun fact: if you punch the amount my parents' house cost in 1978 into an inflation calculator, you get a number similar to what it would sell for today. Essentially, it didn't appreciate. If you took that same money, and put it into an interest calculator at 7% for 40 years (average market return), you get a number nearly 4 times larger. Granted, my parents didn't pay cash so it's not a completely fair comparison, but I'd bet they'd have been paying out less per month in rent the entire time than the mortgage. Houses are like kids; don't have them because you think you should, have them because you want to sink all your time and money into them. ?

Everywhere I've worked since college has had a population of Canadian geese around the parking lot. Today as I was walking in one was loitering around the sidewalk and and it occurred to me to say to it, "Hey hoser, the Leafs suck, eh?" in my best Canadian accent. This may become a morning tradition for me.

I'm not from Philly and I'd say that too. But, cheesesteak isn't that complex of a dish that you can't get it pretty close out of a freezer.

I would have thought he'd move into one of the many big Churches downtown; he's already on the deed. I don't watch local news-ish stuff unless I'm in Buffalo, but it's amazing how much of news TV seems to be thinly-disguised advertising. I'm sure it's the same everywhere. Actually, that goes for the national morning shows too.

Weave, I never figured you old enough to refer to # as hashtag; it's pound or hash! Also, my lawn doesn't like to be walked on. I'd love if the filter put "smurf" in though, that'd be awesome. That's my read; with Skinner on the ice, CAR took far more shots from down low (Red) and the left side of the ice. It also looks like the collective right D on CAR really does not take shots (blue holes on both).

Ray Emery, former Ottawa goalie, reportedly drowned

And Emery handled Peters too!
