The Sabres need 1.37 PPG for the rest of 39 games this season to hit 98 (Taro-Pie .600) points. That's 10-game records of 5-1-4 (that's that streak we all excited about), 6-2-2, 7-3, or better. Playing a whole season at that pace would net 112 points. Do the 2020 Sabres have it in them to be among the best teams in a decade? (Answer: really unlikely)

I'm bad at math, see my update; 716+585 is almost the same population as KC metro area.

If we're going purely on population, you have a point with Baltimore, but the KC metro area is around the same as Buffalo+Rochester (not counting Lower Ontario). What possible reason would the NFL have to prefer the Chiefs over the Bills?

I'm not sure I buy that. I love me some kombucha, but what I've had (and made) is way sweeter than any beer. It's a substitute for pop, and you can make mixed drinks out of it through.

I agree. Iron Hill's food is pretty good but their beer isn't elite. Root Down in Phoenixville is fantastic, BTW, as is Bluebird Distilling.

We make the house smell of elderberries using a pressure cooker. 2 c of dried berries to 6c of later yields around 7 cups of liquid after straining. We experimented with adding stuff like cinnamon and honey but have gotten back to straight juice.

I've been to a few games here, it's generally not too bad. Some ribbing but nothing too bad. I was walking around with a friend in a Philly Roenick jersey, so that may have softened it some.

Generally speak, it's non-pop covers these days. I'm so tired of the standard versions of the songs I have to tune them out. That being said, this has quietly become elite. We set up the CD player and put in probably our only CD at the time, and she absolutely hates the album. It's now running joke in our family.

I agree here. If your corner play is sub standard, you work your system to give the corners help. If your WRs are terrible (cough, Bills), you run a lot and play to the TE.

And as discussed too, with so many positions in the NFL, even late 1st or second round you may be picking the top player for some less-desirable position, like corners, guards, etc.

That definition seems a little wide, but I'd call it good enough. Eichel meets that bar this season. I also notice we're really only talking forwards and a heavy dose of Centers. Not many are talking Ovechkin, which certainly should be in this discussion.
