I'm going with quantum entanglement. Given the available data in a circumstance, you can make a risky decision and have it turn out OK. It doesn't mean anyone is stupid or wrong, just that a less probable outcome occurred. For instance, I can jump off an RV onto a table aflame with lighter fluid and *NOT* get hurt, but it doesn't mean the person telling me it's a bad idea was wrong. Josh Allen was a risky pick compared to the alternatives. It's nice that it turned out OK.

Still think Chess is a game. If you can play 100% as well by telling someone else what to do, it's not a sport. Fortnite (and eSports in general) are right on the line for me. There's not much difference there for me between those and darts, billiards, or even golf. Master your muscle movement and reactions and that's the skill. Actually, esports are probably more sports than darts or billiards, since there's time-sensitive reactions involved.

I think it's in bad taste and also not particularly funny. Considering the Salmon Canal Holler Trail Association is apparently more than some person with an email address, the person responsible for that email should know better than to alienate people. I'm not sure firing is in order, but a "whoops, that was dumb email" and not having it happen again is good.
