NYR fire John Tortorella, Hire Alain Vigneault as new HC

The guys here in Philly bitch about the Eagles front office non-stop. -
See now, if I had that kind of comedy gold I'd never have taken Zoloft. Didn't work all that great for me, but I drank a fair bit (in a social, going out with buddies several times a week way) while I was on it. I don't think that was a good idea in hindsight. It smoothed everything out so there weren't that many lows, but also not as many highs. Decided to get over myself and that seems to have worked.

I don't necessarily disagree with you, I don't know what Darcy can do in this situation. I'd have no problem if he got canned. I also don't have a huge issue with him staying. I just don't think that the OP's assertion that the Sabres have somehow suddenly become a bottom-spending team that's just trying to get by is valid. I think the organ-aye-zation thinks this the best way to get better for the long-haul. -

Or, they're going for the real rebuild where you sell off assets and bring in a coach that's reportedly good with young players. All how you read into it. -
Off Topic Who wants to work for the Sabres?

Tweet, in this case. "I would tweet all day for the Sabres." Tw@t is past tense. "He has been known to tw@t for the Sabres in the past." or "I spend all last night tw@tting for the Sabres, I'm bushed.". ;) -
Don't get me wrong, I like meat as much as anyone. All I'm saying is that dinner there is among the best meals I've ever eaten, bar none.

http://www.vedgerestaurant.com/ Might be one of the best restaurants in the country.

Really? You're asking Bills' fans if they're going to feel sorry for anyone else? :)

-1000 for appearing to be pro-Jets. :-)

Last weekend: made paella on the grill, chicken, shrimp, and scallops. This weekend: Salmon, pork loin, and Zweigles on the grill (with Texas Hot Sauce from the packet and Weber's). I'm kinda mad the local Wegmans only stocks Sahlen's skinless and not the good dogs now. I have to have a word with the manager.

I think the point was they're not going to blow $12M on two goaltenders if they bring in Miller.

It'd be really amusing is Leino turns out to be the best forward signed that day after the gnashing of teeth of missing out on BR.
-
I thought they give him a lot of o-zone starts if that was the case?

Combination of 18 and 20. And 9, of course, since you know, Buffalo.

I can't tell if this is sarcasm or not, but I think BJS got remarkably better as the season wore on. Not great or anything, but not bad. I think Ray mentioned at some point that this is the first time he's played wing, being D before so there was some adjustment.

Fla, duh.

Keeper!

"Uh Coach, who talks to the refs when all three are in the box or dressing room?"
-
Maybe an A, probably not a C.

Sheepish about forgetting to close the thread?

Yeah, somehow I missed that too. Thanks Swamp! Shame there's no PS3 app so I could watch on the TV without attaching a computer. Maybe I'll get around to that media PC one of these days.

I think NBC's pitch is that every playoff game is on cable somewhere, which would be cool if I had cable. On cable means not on GC. Boo. Yeah, it's always been that way. It's only at the ripe age of 36 that's become a regular issue enough that I'm considering taking the hit on it.
-
If? Disney is making Eps 7-9. :)

Despite saying that I was going to catch up on playoffs as they became available on Gamecenter, I haven't watched a single post-season game this year. Oops. Complaint: long-term, I'm going to need reconstructive surgery on my feet. the last few months I've been having burning/sharp pain in them for a few minutes at a time several times a week. Not quite bad enough that I can't walk, but close. The recovery time for doing each foot serially is +-1 year. How do you choose which year you're going to give up your hobbies? The pictured is the one that's bothering me. The other foot is actually more misshapen, but isn't bothering me as much right now.

Can this be the hit they're talking about? That doesn't seem bad unless you call it an elbow or maybe a charge.
