I don't know the details, but there has to be some sort of electrical connector between the wheel and the column which slides (I don't think you could get away with a straight cord since the wheel turns too far). Or, there is a cable and the individual wires have broken/worn the insulation off so their intermingling in an electron ######. Sorry to say it, but I doubt it will be cheap (if I'm right, I hope I'm not).

Elma, but close enough. Iroquois 1994.

The Sabres Hockey Hotline with... somebody or other?

Those "One Before I Die" kids are too young to be whining. -
I have a Thurman Thomas signed hat somewhere. He spoke at the EMW (Elma - Marilla - Wales) football banquet when I was a kid.

Cool. Cambodian is a lot like Thai with less spice. So I'm guessing it's all pretty similar. I'll have to find a Laotion place down in Philly to try it for myself. Lunch: few-days-old Wegmans Basamati rice, with fresh ground black pepper and Dinosaur BBQ seasoning. It's one step up from baked beans straight out of the can (Hobo-beans).

6-10. That's been my prediction every year since the mid-90s.

I didn't get a chance to try any Laotion food when I was over there. Is it more similar to Cambodian, Vietnamese, or Thai?

Why wouldn't hops be vegan? Colour me confused.

I lucked out. I was across the street from my apartment at Sly Fox Brewing watching the game. After the second period, the TV feed disappeared. I walked home and it was not on my TV either (some error message). So I didn't have to watch, just listen on WGR. I remember the first caller afterwards breaking down in tears. -
Most of the non-hockey fans I know sum the game up as too boring. Some guys skate around, once in a very great while someone scores. I think we just need to disagree, though, since there's not really a right answer.
-
One can argue that the quality of the game would also do wonders for the NHL as well.
-
Yeah, I figured out just after I posted. Oops. So the WGR guys are talking about moving NJD somewhere. That was my first thought when I heard that. It doesn't seem like the NYC area needs three teams (especially with NYI being in the 5 boroughs now). Ship them to Seattle, the true hockey fans will gravitate to the Flyers, NYI, or NYR.
-
I'm not sure that's possible, doesn't the same guy (Ed Synder?) own the Flyers? EDIT: Nevermind, I'm getting something mixed up.

They're on my list of acts I really want to see. although I never get to concerts these days, so I may never get the chance.

My regular doc is "Dr. Brian Boucher". :)

My wife swears by the neti pot. She said it was really odd at first, but got used to it.

I had a friend that loves doing baseball recording and stats. He was doing them for the corporate baseball team so the players would have full stats work-ups. After awhile people would start getting on his case if they weren't up a couple days after the game. People suck.

I prefer "Holla! Pay-nose" :)

Me too. Can't keep it in the house. Wifey and I got a "Beer of the Month" club thing as a wedding present, and the first set showed up yesterday. 12 bottles, 2 breweries, 2 styles from each. The odd thing is this month one of the brewers is Lancaster Brewing, which is 25 miles down the road.

Congrats. Having just done a reception, I'll offer a few (fairly standard) tips: - Do make sure to eat whenever you can. If it works out logistically, task someone to send a small tray of appetizers to you. My father-in-law sent a tray up to our room during cocktail hour and it was a perfect way to bridge the gap until dinner. Also, if you're roaming around for pictures, pack a small bag with (much) water and snacks. If you want to be extra nice, pack a bag for your photographer(s). They're working the same hectic schedule as you, but they have even less chance to eat. - Make an effort to eat dinner. It will be tough because people will yammer at you, but work as a team to keep people chatting while the other eats. - Remember that as long as you're married at the end of the day, you're good. Everything else is gravy. - Have fun. It's a blast.
