1975 was closer. The Sabres needed a minimum of 4 goals to win that cup that year (3 to win Game 6, 1 minimum to win game 7). The Sabres needed a minimum of 6 goals to win: 2 vs. the Canes and then four 1-0 games. I get the "they can't win in that building" concept, but realistically a couple bounces would have tossed that.

She's in total agreement with me. :) The sooner the show it on the road, the sooner it's over and we get to the good stuff.

Who will be the Sabres 3rd center this upcoming season
MattPie replied to Happy Days's topic in The Aud Club
When did Ennis become a 1st line center, and when did Foligno start playing center at all? (Foligno played some C last year I think, but to slot him hin there?) There are six (!) guys on the roster listed at center, and you're moving a LW over? Moulson - Hodgson - Steward (scorer, playmaker (?), physical guy) Foligno - Ennis - Stafford (why not bring back a classic line, plus: physical guy., play maker, scorer (in theory)) Delauriers - Girgensons - Gionta (not sure about Delauriers, but I'd hope he's above Ellis. If not, Flynn) Ellis - McCormick - Mitchell Flynn fills injury holes in the top 9 or pushes Foligno down and Delauriers out. Kaleta replaces Mitchell if he's back up. -
No baby yet. My wife is still a few days from being due, but after a couple false labor incidents we're both ready to get this show on the road.

Don't Stop Believing was the last song at my wedding; right after the polkas. I get that. I guess my college parties were "too close" in the 90s, I don't remember hearing those songs that often. But. oh, what other things I don't remember [bUH-DUH-BUM].
-
What on earth did he do in the early 2000s that was notable? :) Mid-80s, maybe, even early 90s, Sure.

As long as you didn't do something stupid like bet all the money, you still win!

I'm glad you think so! :) I can see people at NFL corporate having the conversation that Toronto, with its much larger population, being better for the NFL as a league than Buffalo. You'd probably lose half of the Buffalo TV viewers, but gain that back plus a ton with more interest in TOR. I doubt they expand past 32 teams. It's such a good number for divisions and whatnot.

I like the fan-boy comment that it's super-distinct as the Rangers logo even if you remove the lettering and color. Ha. If you remove the lettering, it could be a logo for a government agency or a road sign.

I'd bet on a mistake was made (accidentally touched something without the suit sealed) before worrying about the suit itself (but I'd be testing the suit to make sure). I've been fighting a run-in with poison ivy and I know how easy it is to accidentally scratch my ear with my blue-gloves without thinking.

I never realized how close Pittsburgh and Buffalo are, 3.5 hours according to Google. It may well be faster to drive to Pitts than Toronto when you factor in the border crossing.

I didn't catch that the first read. I put that many miles (7000) on my motorcycle per year, seems low unless you have a close job or second vehicle.

http://www.co-opsharedbranch.org/ I also found a number of credit unions that are only tied to where you live or work (Great Erie in the Southtowns for instance) so you might not need to work for a particular employer or agency.
-
Credit Unions often rock. I just found out recently that many credit unions participate in a national network for "shared branch" so you can bank wherever if you're not near your own.

Yeah, really. Why doesn't Congress just pass the measures on immigration then? Oh right, they don't want to put their names on anything so when something negative happens they can pin it on the President.

The Sabres Hockey Hotline with... somebody or other?

What, really? I thought he was just on vacation. -
When asked about Manhattan, he said American-made is always going to be tougher.

"You know who else is a bitch? Bon Jovi. F--- that guy."

And it won't. We like to paint it as "this side/that side", but realistically there's always going to be at least one arsehole that hasn't gotten enough revenge and will lob a few rockets/mortars/foot soldiers over the fence. Even if 99% of both sides agreed, that 1% would ruin it for everyone.

True, I know some military folks that absolutely hated Bush.

I'd bet that the odds of that RW being Stafford are better than the odds both a 2nd and 3rd (Compher and Baptiste) round pick making it.

You'll see that with contract brewing in the beer world a lot. I've run into bars/restaurants that'll have one or two of their own beers that they have brewed for them. By and large they haven't been *that* good, but I wouldn't look down on the beer solely for that reason.
