I dunno, I loved my 5-speed Jeep Cherokee as far as SUVs go. And someone upthread is right: WRX doesn't come in manual. It's 5-speed only, or the STi is 6-speed.

I've never had any trouble shifting after a few. I'm not going to say it's smart either way, but shifting keeps your head in the game. The only automatic I've owned since 1994 is my wife's Outback (which we bought from her parents). The standards include 2 WRXs (2002 and 2011), I love those cars and I love driving standard. ProTip: depending on which extracurricular activities you're talking about, learn to shift with your left hand so you don't have interrupt what your right is doing. ;)

He might be 10' tall if he stands on his brother's shoulders. -

Be careful of the blood splatter.

And the locker room feed, and the meetings with coaches, and workout feed, and late night partying feed.

Wow. I wonder how that works with his eligibility, can they send him to junior while injured, and do the missed games count for anything?

This has a far greater chance of troll-success. -
I think he has a point, people would rather watch amateur football than the NHL in the fall. Come the last couple weeks of January (when the NFL is down to just Sunday play-off games) and for the rest of the season, all-day Saturday seems like a great idea. Or wait until after the SB and attempt to take over Sunday.

They're shipping it down to Rochester with him, where it'll be installed in the Amerks room. They hope it'll serve as inspiration for him to work hard so they can ship it back to Buffalo soon.

s/open up a/take the/. When I looked at the standings, Buffalo has the tie breaker right now (division record).

Oh yeah? I'm going to nominate *my* friends in McCarthyizm. :-p http://www.mccarthyizm.com/ I thought about this during one of the world cup matches, but I was thinking about how cool it'd be to have the crowd belting something fight-song-esque during play. I'd think it'd get into the players heads, but who knows. Erie Canal song would seem to work, I know I learned it in grade school.

If that's for 23-oz (750 ml in your Canadian numbers), that's super cheap for the bottle. It's still cheap for 12s. I don't know if that link will work, but it looks like a 23oz will run $12.50 here. It'd have to be *really* good to be nearly twice as good as Ommegang stuff at $8.50 for 23oz. http://www.wegmans.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=10052&catalogId=10002&productId=769239

Ink: yeah. It doesn't sound quite as bad what you're going through, but there's days (including today) where my wife loses it. She was pretty good during the pregnancy, but the first 6.5 weeks have been rough on her. The tough part is we don't have a ton of friends in the area and no family, so she doesn't get much break other than when I'm taking care of Rose. And when I'm around she wants to hang around with me (why I don't know). It's tough but I keep working from the assumption that it'll get better for her. Otherwise I there'd be far fewer peoplewith more than one kid.

This is the only onesie on Amazon. Reason enough? http://www.amazon.com/Buffalo-Sabres-Retro-Creeper-Months/dp/B00KGEY9BQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1412303867&sr=8-1&keywords=sabres+onesie+nhl In fairness, this also exist, but that's a lot of money for a 3-pack. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AEG8YBM/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=Z0OCG2MACBL3&coliid=I3RO8T9PBFB9MP&psc=1 Someone did discuss Dustin Hoffman's monkey though.

I haven't had it in awhile, but I remember it being good. At the time I wasn't too into Belgian Goldens (it still not something I drink a ton of) so I think my ruling was good, but not up to the hype (the hype was *huge* at the time). Now I'm curious, I'll have to make an exception to my long-standing "drink local" stance and pick up a bottle.

I bought an extra tub of baby formula last night just in case. I figure I can stay in the house for a month or so living off the food I have. If that's not enough time, society is in bigger trouble than I can plan for.

He said he did tell someone at the time, and the message got lost. That's a pretty big f'n oops.

So does a first-pitch line drive straight to the SS.

It's not bad. I'm kind of amazed that it wasn't allowed in Ontario, it's just beer. In any case, you could have just driven down to Buffalo and gotten some for awhile now. :) EDIT: Also, I've *never* even heard of someone "binge drinking" Beligian beers. By that logic, I guess all that light-beer binge drinking I've seen over the years is clearly a figment of my imagination from drinking strong beer. ;)

The peppermint were good, the cinnamon OK, and the chocolate meh. I still have a tin or two around, I think one is in my car with Tums in it.
