  1. Ink: yeah. It doesn't sound quite as bad what you're going through, but there's days (including today) where my wife loses it. She was pretty good during the pregnancy, but the first 6.5 weeks have been rough on her. The tough part is we don't have a ton of friends in the area and no family, so she doesn't get much break other than when I'm taking care of Rose. And when I'm around she wants to hang around with me (why I don't know). It's tough but I keep working from the assumption that it'll get better for her. Otherwise I there'd be far fewer peoplewith more than one kid.
  2. This is the only onesie on Amazon. Reason enough? http://www.amazon.com/Buffalo-Sabres-Retro-Creeper-Months/dp/B00KGEY9BQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1412303867&sr=8-1&keywords=sabres+onesie+nhl In fairness, this also exist, but that's a lot of money for a 3-pack. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AEG8YBM/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=Z0OCG2MACBL3&coliid=I3RO8T9PBFB9MP&psc=1 Someone did discuss Dustin Hoffman's monkey though.
  3. I haven't had it in awhile, but I remember it being good. At the time I wasn't too into Belgian Goldens (it still not something I drink a ton of) so I think my ruling was good, but not up to the hype (the hype was *huge* at the time). Now I'm curious, I'll have to make an exception to my long-standing "drink local" stance and pick up a bottle.
  4. I do, and she's freaking adorable (if I may say so).
  5. I bought an extra tub of baby formula last night just in case. I figure I can stay in the house for a month or so living off the food I have. If that's not enough time, society is in bigger trouble than I can plan for.
  6. He said he did tell someone at the time, and the message got lost. That's a pretty big f'n oops.
  7. So does a first-pitch line drive straight to the SS.
  8. It's not bad. I'm kind of amazed that it wasn't allowed in Ontario, it's just beer. In any case, you could have just driven down to Buffalo and gotten some for awhile now. :) EDIT: Also, I've *never* even heard of someone "binge drinking" Beligian beers. By that logic, I guess all that light-beer binge drinking I've seen over the years is clearly a figment of my imagination from drinking strong beer. ;)
  9. The peppermint were good, the cinnamon OK, and the chocolate meh. I still have a tin or two around, I think one is in my car with Tums in it.
  10. I remember when these were new: http://www.peppermin...ated-mints.html On a related note, I had some caffeinated bottled water (truly, the early 2000s were peak-caffeine) around the same time. The water was a pretty bad idea, as it seemed to dry your mouth out after a little bit. The solution, of course, was to drink some more water. I was driving up to meet a girl and by time I got there I was wired on the stuff (in a bad, twitchy way). That relationship went NO-where.
  11. I was wondering if anyone had ever taken a swing at those pitches, thanks for answering before I had a chance to google it. :) In any case, this would seem to be similar to the argument that the extra-point in football should be awarded automatically unless the team wants to try for 2. I don't know where I come down on it, but I can see the argument of not preserving something boring just for the <1% of the time something interesting happens. Last season, 4 XP were blocked and 1 was missed. How many hits off pitch outs, wild pitches, and i-walks have there been over the last few years?
  12. I agree completely, it just seems odd that he'd go through this much trouble to hassle a random person.
  13. Seems like there has to be some history there, kid dated the officer's sister or something.
  14. For the time being, you have to count Larsson as well, I don't think he can be sent down until he's healthy again, right?
  15. I'm sure the Pats fans felt that way in the late 90s when Buffalo was in decline. "Pass the chowda, the Bills have been lording over us for years but they're not as good now, this victory isn't as wicked as I'd hoped."
  16. Wow, I consider Lindemans pretty sweet already. I haven't had one in awhile, I'll have to try them again if I see one.
  17. Pick him up! I'm sure that now he's seen how good he had it in Buffalo he's gonna try real hard.
  18. As hard as it is, you have to view the traded pick as a sunk cost. Whether that pick ends up being #3 or #23 (ha), we're not making it. The Bills' only responsibility is do what's best for the team for this season (maybe) and long term. If I were a coach, I'd give EJ every oppurtunity to figure out his game or to decide if the first pick next draft is going to be a QB. If I were in upper management (or an owner that likes to have input in to team decisions ;)) I'd want Orton to play as an A/B test on the coaching staff.
  19. If card longevity is a factor in your score, wouldn't it make sense to keep 1-3 "long term cards" and then just shuffle the balance to a revolving door of cards until it's paid off? Then, when you close that card all you have left are 1-3 cards that you've had for X years. That is if you can trust yourself to not use the long-term cards for anything that you can't pay off each month.
  20. The game is listed and it got as far a "waiting for video feed" so that's hopeful on PC. The PS3 client doesn't even show a 2014-15 season yet; the PS3 client is kind of a joke. It works OK, but it's nowhere near feature-parity with the web interface.
  21. I believe that taking out a loan negatively affects your credit rating. That sounds crazy to me, as to me it would be a sign that you're being responsible and managing your finances well. Aapparently it means that you were in over your head or something. I know in the past I'd use those "1% APR on balance transfers!" deals when I needed to, but I don't know if those still exist (I haven't kept a CC balance in awhile).
  22. I'm jealous, I don't see an opportunity to get plastered any time in the near future. Luckily since I have 2-3 drinks a week now, plastered is drinking 3 craft beers in a sitting.
  23. That's interesting, is this case is "best" most popular or actually "best"? For example, in the US, Miller Lite is probably the most popular but not many of us would consider it the best. I've had various Lindemans before (the cherry mixed with stout is pretty good, btw) but I never really considered them "good" lambic. They're almost wine-coolers (I think in the UK those are referred to as alco-pops in case the term isn't familar). Good for a fancy way to get girls who don't like beer tipsy, though that's long in the past for me.
  24. I'm surprised, I had always heard it would be too expensive to license all the music. Maybe as time goes on the license fees are going down. My wife is mildly mad that Northern Exposure DVDs are either really expensive or the audio is badly cut up from replacing the original music with license-free stuff.
  25. Are they talking about the shoes or the home-arrest anklet?
