OEM battery or aftermarket?

Is no one else worried that the sudden influx of talent might ruin the quality of the CHL? I don't think Carolina Toilet Bowls really rolls off the tongue. Carolina Flush has a nice ring to it, plus it almost sounds like a legitimate ECHL team name. That being said, Candy Canes is great too.

I suppose this is a good a place as any for this: I was in DC last week and ended up talking to a Buffalo guy next to me at Dogfish. Turns out he was skiing with Darcy a couple years ago (his brother knows him or something). They talked hockey some and apparently Darcy said something like, "the team is never going to get better until they get their center situation sorted out". What the hell was Darcy waiting for if he knew this?

One of the few good things to come out of Boston.

There was this guy DIV/0 that did!

Can I vote for both of the NYI Goaltenders?

They're making it look good, pulling the goalie with 2 minutes left to give up an ENG and make sure the differential is good too.

That's the more likely outcome than getting the #1 pick even once. I forget the exact numbers, the last year it was roughly 25%, this year 20%. Which makes the odds of getting 1 #1 pick between the two ~45%, so less than 50/50. If you (the general "you") get mad because Buffalo doesn't get a #1 out of either year, check your math. :)

I have the CAR-EDMgame on. Early in the 3rd, 2-2. Edmonton scores on a blown slashing non-call (and Carolina takes a 2-min unsportsmanlike when the coach refuses to put players out afterwards), but the carrion gods set it right and it's 3-3 now, 11:30 left in regulation.

Worked from all day, went out to Target, KFC on the way home. It's a crazy life I lead these days. Getting to see RosePie all day? Fantastic.

And bleeding from the eyes. The broadcast mentioned that Winnipeg and Minnesota also have not scored on the power play yet. As for the same, I don't know whether to attribute it to the Sabres or the opponents, but the last two games in SoCal the Sabres have looked like an NHL team. Not a good team, but a team that is playing better than last year and the first few games of this year.

So I was listening to a story on the radio last about a family that moved back to the US from Liberia in September. They quarantined themselves while in Liberia for 21+ days, and then quarantined themselves again when they got here for another 21+ days. That's how you F'N do it.

What kind of neighborhood is it? At my house, I get 2-300 hundred kids begging for candy. I'm not sure that'll help with the neighbor encounters, since all you can do is sit in your driveway handing out candy to a line of kids. I've skipped it the last few years because I don't want to spend $75 on candy. I have an excuse this year, I'll be out of town. My advice is to set up you grill (everyone has one of those, right?) in the driveway. At least you'll be out front so if people do come out you can wave at them.

Are any of the photoshop geniuses working on a CHL logo? I'd think the Register's logo would be a good start.

So my impression watching the game was that the Sabres aren't exactly good, but they played a decent game. - I noticed more physical play from guys like Stafford and Hodgson than I was expecting which is a good thing. - For a long time, I didn't think Ennis really had a place on a good team because of his size, but I'm finally coming around to the idea that he plays with enough fire to make up for it. - Reinhart didn't look out of place often, but I didn't see anything particularly great. He does seem to be getting his legs under him compared to the earlier games, which hopefully means he'll get a lot better. If after 6 games he's playing as well as Flynn, we're already positive. :) -

I have yet to see someone sympathize with them. The only thing driving the conversation is your inability or unwillingness to understand that there are ###### in every religion. The leaders of these schmuks have cloaked it the terms of religion, but it has nothing to do with that religion as a whole. Like most conflicts, religion is a convenient way to rally people. Just like the Klan, the atrocities of the Spanish Conquistadors, or the slave trade they were all justified as bringing Christianity to the heathens.

As I read through that list, I could think of Christian examples for most (if not all) of those crimes, many in the US over the last 200 years and many depending on how you view it in the last few years as collateral damage in the Middle East and elsewhere. Mr. TheMatrix could do with toning down the rhetoric some.

I thought that if you ate enough of them, your body learns to deal with them. For awhile I was eating a salad with broccoli (3oz, by weight) almost every day and didn't notice undesirable effects (well, no more than my usual undesirability :)).
