Until Summer!

Having watched a lot of Eagles football when I lived in Philly, I don't think he couldn't coach football. I do think he was playing 4D chess a lot but didn't have the personnel to pull it off at times, but mostly he wasn't flexible to change his plan if it wasn't working. I haven't watched football in years, but either he's grown and can adapt now, or Mahomes can pull off whatever crazy scheme is in his head so he doesn't have to adapt anything. It's not dissimilar to the Bills offense, Allen makes a lot of people look great even if they're only good.

I mean, the format sells but I 100% agree with you. Listening to Wally from Cheektowoga spout out some poorly informed nonsense isn't good listening.

Welcome back! -
That's not the craziest theory in the world, although I bet it'd happen in the off-season if Matthews tells the Leafs he has no interest in signing.

Sabres sign Michael Houser. He has cleared Waivers

Not really, but Boston has had recent success and doesn't have streaks like, "Haven't won a cup in 5x years" and "haven't won a playoff series in 19 years". I really want to see those continue, where Boston can win another if it has to be that way.
-
That's what we're all rooting for of course, but I'd even settle for a second-round loss considering how much they've given up.
-
Careful with these. We've long lambasted the Leafs on being all-offence, no-defence, but the current Sabres are 110% that if they make the playoffs. I don't see the Sabres getting out of first round with the tighter play either.

Buffalo needs to make the goatheads permanent

Same, the Sabres spent a decade or two in mediocre/terrible jersey wilderness. Whatever superstition is driving this doesn't work for me. -
I suspect the OP knew both those things when writing the post. 😉

The 70s Habs were in the prime window of the last of the pre-draft players, where the Habs had the rights for every 12 year old that could skate and lived east of Kingston via their Junior affiliations[0]. IMHO, that's what drove that dynasty more than anything. [0] I'm partly joking about the scope

But but we have a game in hand! 🙂

The 9-ish minute highlights on YouTube show up maybe 30 minutes after the end of the game. I almost never track games real-time, so this works perfectly for me. Sportsnet or NHL post the same video (more or less). -
He seems like a savvy investor. I wonder if he likes exotic snakes.

The bold is the important part, I think. If you are in Buffalo broadcast area, not sure you can get the games on ESPN+. You'd need MSG in some format. -
Just as long as it doesn't get us this: (side, note, greatest goalie of all time cameo in there)

No, because it's the Leafs.

Some... Most?... People aren't satisfied with what they have no matter how much that is. They haven't figured out how to actually be happy. This instance just seems so dumb, and apparently his father is involved? There's all kinds of conclusions to jump to there. -
Have you tried holding the paper in your hand rather than teeth?

My guess is "tweaking" the radar was just lowering the signature that gets noticed. The original design was probably set for something like light aircraft (like a Cessna or an Ultralight) because that was the threat they were thinking about. Lowering that threshold likely means they'll be getting tons more alerts that they have to run down only to find it's a lost Mylar balloon from a kids party or whatnot. Hopefully not so many that they just start ignoring them, which is the way alerts usually work; after enough false positives people just stop checking (myself included). So, if you're an engineer that's not a terrible answer, just changing requirements.
