Is that the one where Yoda bounces around like an X-games trampoline competitor? I always thought Yoda should just stand serenely as he dispatches everyone that comes into his path. "Jump around like a rubber doll a Jedi master does not." -
There's no way I expected anyone a response this was a good-looking group of people. :)

Last I know, it's 24 hours from noon to noon (??). Any team that wants can put in a claim and I think the team that's worst in the standings gets the player. There may be a short-cut if the last-place team puts in a claim, but otherwise I think we have to wait.

That's cool. I'm usually a US microbrew guy these days, but there is a cool place in Norfolk VA that has a bunch of obscure import stuff, that is a fun time. If you get to that bar, make a note of what US stuff they have, I'd be curious. (we might need to take this to a different thread)

Maybe our (after a few pints) theory doesn't hold water. It makes sense that only the larger companies (like Bud, Miller, Absolut, etc.) would have the resources to ship beer between continents. Only the larger microbrews distribute to the entire US, so I'm sure none of the good stuff gets over to Europe or Scandinavia unless you really go looking for it.

Yep, your views on it are pretty consistent. :)

I was in London and one of the locals and I were talking about beer; the feeling was companies send the "bad" stuff overseas since they can sell it as "imported". I rarely saw Bass (beer) in England, but at the time it was a staple of import beer in the US. Going the other way, Budweiser and Rolling Rock (of all things) were pretty prevalent American beer over there; which completely explains why foreigners have such a bad opinion of our beer.

I do fine it interesting that a lot of people that want no part of the government regulating business are perfectly fine with the government snooping into their lives and personal space. (I'm not referring to anyone in particular here, just interesting how we all compartmentalize things that seem at odds with each other)

That's what I was thinking. Maybe the Republicans would be better out laying plans and ideas rather than being focussed on making someone regret "her entitlement" (assume that slang for "having slightly different ideas on how to run the country").

I have no idea where the nickname came from, I've just seen it used here. BTW, HCHDDB is "Head Coach Hot Disco Dan Bylsma", the concatenation of all the nicknames I've seen here.
-
Hot Daniel (Bylsma), I believe.
-
I'm guessing Terry told GMTM and HCHDDB that he wants Kane on Eichel's wing.

Maybe not that exact quote, but diabeetus for sure.

They're sold in FL for when the temperature gets below 70.

I feel like I "newer" member despite registering in 2007. Even then, there was a lore, mystery, and legend surrounding this place.

Just the three, promise. Hedy is a mom to the other two. We started only looking for two kittens but fell in love with Hedy and adopted her too.

Episode II I only half watched and it was so terrible I turned it off (I never do that). I should give Episode III a shot, but none of the Star Wars stuff is on Netflix streaming or Prime Video so forget it. I might take a look to see how much it is to rent if I magically get some free time. :) -
If you attach a picture to a post, it'll be thumbnail sized unless you click on it, if you link a picture from another site (imgur, smugmug, etc.), it'll be full size in the post.

Are you talking about the cat or is "Bubs" a nickname for d4rk?

I'm not entirely disagreeing with you, but very good defenses don't have bad days 50% of the time. The point someone made above about the offense giving the defense bad field position and little time off is very valid, however. Perhaps the defense will look a lot better if the offense becomes competent.

Interesting, I guess I've only run up against it in the context of maternity/paternity leave. That seems like a pretty questionable practice from the outside.

I can't watch the video, but from the preview image I assume that's a game-day shot? :)

I'm kind of with you. At home, I have a box of tools (I have a lock-open box cutter that I use a ton, FWIW), and otherwise don't need a knife all that often. I have a Leatherman in my backpack that's with me at work and most travel, but I can count on one hand how many times I've used it in the last year. I used to carry pocket knifes more often and all it did was substitute using a crappy screwdriver on the knife instead of going and getting a proper tool. :)
