I don't think you follow the Steelers and Ravens (and Bengals), those teams and fan bases really seem to hate each other.

Amendments *are* the constitution. Every pill has a BB in it with a serial number that you need to fetch "after processing". If you can't provide every one, you're ineligible for medication for one year and are fined. The counter argument is that all violent crime has been decreasing in that period, even in areas where gun ownership hasn't increased. The nation 20 years ago was coming down off the crack epidemic 80s and the crazy crime rates that entailed. You have to be careful drawing conclusions like that, otherwise the cause for the slowing rate of gun deaths is the Bills haven't won a playoff game in those same 20 years. And as for the "gun deaths happen more in areas that have stricter gun regulations"; the total number of murders in New York State has decreased every year of the last 5, even though the SAFE act created more restrictive gun laws.

That's a lot of stuff to take care of, even if you pay people to do it for you.

Ssssh, I'm seeing how outlandish the suggestions will get.

So what's wrong with what I proposed above? If you transfer a gun and don't report it, at least some of the blame is on you. If you do as you mention above, you're treated as an accomplice. Logging ammo and producing casings is one of those clever things they anti-gun folks think they figured out but in the real world it's just not going to work. If nothing else, if I go through a ton of ammo (let's say, 1000 rounds) in a year no one is actually going to check to make sure I've accounted for all those.

When I've fired guns in the woods, the round goes a few inches past the hill, berm, or backstop that's behind whatever I'm shooting at. That's how the safe handling of firearms works. Also, you generally shoot in the woods because A: there aren't many people around or B: (not my choice, but) that's where the animals are. Seriously, I get that you have no understanding of guns as a hobby but to lump all gun usage into one category is lazy.
-
I swear, you must have never fired a gun out in the woods and tried to find the casings (just to be environmentally conscious).

The ammo thing is a non starter as they're consumables. I've tried to track how much gas I put in the car and that's hard enough with credit card receipts. It would be too easy to lose track of a few rounds here or there. I can see some sort of verification system that you still own the weapon though. Or just fake it. Yep, I went out in the woods and shot three boxes the day after I bought them every time.

I'd be curious to see if you did the NHL since 1980 (or 1990, since the 80s were the islanders and Oilers show). Montreal still won a bunch in the 1970s due to the advantage they had in the concept of signing players when they were kids in the 50s and 60s and those players still working through the system. I didn't to the whole numbers, but since 1980, 16 teams have won the 35 years. Since 1990, 14 teams have won 25 years. By definition, 56% were a "new" team to win it since 1990. Not nearly as bad.

She didn't figure she'd need it either. :) It's a shame, I have a hitch on the WRX and I'd like to be able to pull a light trailer, Subaru didn't put the lighting connector in the WRX (nor does it officially have towing capacity in the US). One of these days I'll pony up and buy the right one, but I'm too lazy. :) Anyone else need a Subaru OEM trailer light harness? I think it fits 2010- current Outbacks, Foresters, Crosstrek, and maybe others.
-
Nice! My sister has one in Buffalo and she likes it. It's probably on the short-list for cars when my WRX wears out. BTW, I have a trailer wiring harness that fits that car that I don't need. It's yours if you want it.

That's what we said about a certain other LW/C on this team.

No underfloor water detectors? For shame! (maybe that's only around here where there used to be herds of vaxen and lumbering mainframes with water cooling roaming the datacenters)

How do gun rights folks feel about having to log selling a gun private party (somewhat like selling a car). Failure to log is something from an misdemeanor to accomplice if it's really shady. Essentially, you're responsible for your weapon, and if it's sold, lost, or stolen, you better report it or you're on the hook for any crimes committed with it. One might argue there's a chicken and egg thing going on here. I'm sure I could find a county in Maryland that has really low gun crime stats despite being under those same laws.

If I remember right, Pysyk played all last season on the left in Rochester, probably since the Sabres knew that was a needed position and they wanted to see if he could do it. He definitely bumps Weber and Cola on most nights. If he can play steady and solid when Risto skates into the zone, the Sabres could have something.

I suddenly don't feel quite as bad about being beat when I ride around my neighborhood. I'm in no way in good shape, but if I were to ride up out of Coatesville to my house it's a 300ft climb over a mile. In my neighborhood there are 50-75ft climbs over a hundred or three yards. I really need to ride some flat ground.

There might be a subset of numbers that work with all of those, I dunno. I'm a rook too, I've bought tickets maybe 3 times in the last 10 years.

Someone mentioned that upthread, and it's hilarious.
