Until Jack signed, I think it'd be an NCAA violation for his program to take a gift flight. Vesey probably doesn't have the same issue since he's done with NCAA Hockey.

Is the scoreboard centered over the ice? :)

Soccer (Football) ~ Everything About The Beautiful Game
MattPie replied to Sabres Fan in NS's topic in The Aud Club
I thought about it later, and you're right; I don't find soccer to be boring. Crazy games where the teams are trading goals is more entertaining than the parking the bus that someone mentioned upthread, however. -
Soccer (Football) ~ Everything About The Beautiful Game

Seems like there are quite a few sports that aren't very entertaining unless the participants do something wrong, though. NASCAR (and auto racing in general) is kinda dull unless people are crashing; soccer unless teams are giving up tons of chances; golf unless drives are into the gallery, etc. -
The Bandits might grump on that.

Buffalo always seemed like that curve was at 2AM, not midnight. The upstairs at the Continental didn't even open until midnight. Considering there's probably 2 consistent 40 goal scorers in the NHL, I think "have trade value" is a bit of an understatement. :)

You're not necessarily giving them away. You're getting back a clearer picture of your future a month before you would otherwise.

"Wow, Chara just flung Pu into the boards. Oh, Pu is steaming! He goes right back at Chara and Rask comes in from behind and dumps Pu on the ice!"
-
Turns out he's from the greater Buffalo area, as in Olean.

I'd hate him as much as anyone who interviews for a job and decides to go in another direction. Or someone you ask out and they decline. That is to say, not much other than being somewhat disappointed.

Sorrell Booke. From Buffalo, btw.

Evander Kane : Two crime reports filed in nightclub incident

Sunnova, I need to talk to Stan; there's no way I should be making less than you with the seniority I have over you you little punk. -
Thanks for this, I'll not embarrass myself when I talk about him. "Isle Oak-po-so" it is!

I dunno, I don't notice it when we're togedder.

Update: I took two of the cats over to the adoption center last night (happy birthday to me). I cried. I guess I'm not a total jerk. The third cat will be traveling to Buffalo with us tomorrow to find a new home at a friend's house. That's going to be a lovely ride.

It's possible he's in the doghouse (as Zadorov was) and GMTM will move him if the right offer comes along.

2007: Drury and Briere? :( When I traveled for work, there was a question in the expense reporting system that ask (paraphrasing) "do you expect to work in this state for more than 30 days on the same project this calendar year?" for tax reasons. Other than maybe playoffs (where the players don't actually get paid), I doubt any state would meet those characteristics. That being said, maybe sports are different.

Four firsts, but before you say ZOMG!, Edmonton in 2007 was only a year removed from being in the SCF; those picks may well have ended up in the 20s with Vanek on the team and other moves made.

NYS, maybe, but not Buffalo. Driving distances are Pitts (130-ish), Philly 192 mi, Buffalo 202 mi, and DC 217 mi.

Rupert Grint in Into the White was a departure too, maybe it's Brits or kids today but there's hope all movies won't become serial-throwaways.

It looks like Radio Equipment Corp up on Vlulcan is closed, that was my best bet. You might have to go digging around on Digikey or Mouser

Hopefully not Tim Curry though. Actually, that'd be pretty awesome too, but maybe not for the Sabres. My Father-in-Law was flabbergasted that MrsPie and I invited him to the Polish festival in Sloan. He told me that when he was young, you hid the fact you were Polish as if your relatives were notorious criminals. Things change, sometimes for the better! (Fun fact: I asked him "permission" to marry MrsPie while we were there)

How about access to the Thruway? They are as far as the census are concerned!

West, actually. :) East Philly is a river, and then Camden NJ (which is also turning around along the river). The area where the arenas are in Philly isn't *too* bad, although I'd be in Yellow alert walking around there all the time. within a mile or two to the west are neighborhoods that I'd avoid driving through and certainly not walk through.
