I tend to agree, although the fact i nthe wider shot she did it towards Trump's giant picture stage left is a bit unnerving. Apropos:

So, Nazi salute or accident?

You could argue that if he'd signed last year he'd be one year closer to UFA (right?).

For Locomitiv in the KHL for all the rubles? :)

Good point. With the rise of ebay/Craigslist, there's probably a ton more interstate sales than I'd think at first glance.

I want to say more, but I'm not sure he's proven that yet.

Hey, at least it's Beefcake Foligno day tomorrow.

BTW, there is one PA DMV for car registrations and things like that, and it's in Harrisburg. There's an entire cottage industry of auto tag shops where a notary will stamp everything then a courier takes your paperwork to Harrisburg to be filed. I'm not kidding. There are "Driver's License Centers" sprinkled around the state that handle IDs, but not car registrations. If you go down this road, talk to the seller and see if they have a tag shop they like or find one nearby. Then call that place and talk to the people to figure out the process. It's not a weird as it sounds, FWIW.

I tend to agree (Let's go and I are probably near-neighbors); they brine early and often here which ends up being salt-mist when it starts to get wet or salt-dust if they miscalculate and it doesn't snow. Then, if it really does snow (like, a couple inches), they lay down a ton of salt at 25 MPH and block both lanes of the highway in the process. I've bought two cars in a neighboring state (VA -> MD and NJ -> PA) through dealers and it was a painless process as the dealers handled it themselves. Those dealers were close enough to a border that it made sense though; I'm guessing that if you bought a car in Williamsport they wouldn't know what to do with NY registrations. NJ does it in an interesting manner; they put on a 30-day temporary tag until your real plates come in. My Dad bought a car in Atlantic City and he registered it in NY when he got back.

And presumably play a few games early in the season.

El Presidente. They made a big deal about it in one episode where someone wouldn't stop talking.

Also offered a scholarship at Trump University!

So Pence for President? I don't know much about him, but nothing I've heard aligns well my views.

I think on the 10th game, it counts as a year on his ELC whether it's Juniors or AHL. It's not that you can't send a player back to Juniors after that 10th game (see: Grigorenko), but most teams don't as if you've already burned that ELC year you might as well keep the player up unless it's really not working out (see: Grigorenko).

2nd paragraph: For an outsider, Trump is running what looks like the most political (in a bad way) campaign I've seen. Politicians are often criticized for pandering to their constituents and making empty promises. Trump will apparently say anything he thinks will crowd will love, and loves making promises that I highly doubt he will, or in many cases, can keep. He should have saved that for the October Surprise!

I'd just like to say it was worth reading through this thread. Accidents happen. When they do, generally the right people are notified and the spill is cleaned up. Unless someone is repeatedly negligent after being educated, no one gets marched out in handcuffs.

MrsPie and I did the stuff around Ohiopyle a couple years ago. Falling Water is very cool, but Kentuck Knob is a house I could see actually living in. The slides on the south end of town were really running that day I'm impressed by the kids that braved them. I highly recommend it!

And they nailed it. Truly awesome.

Hahaha, I used to do something similar at a bar called Kelly's in Endicott, NY. I think $11 was about right, but that was the going rate back then. They used to run $1 Labatt Blue bottles specials, if that places the time.

Especially in my awesome blue 9x13 glass dish. MrsPie got me a nice Pyrex to replace it but I'm still a little annoyed that I broke it. This is the recipe I use. It's technically a bread pudding, but the description mentions it's a lot like a Tres Leches. I'm thinking about doing an experiment with some matcha green tea to cut the sweetness a bit. http://www.food.com/recipe/mulates-homemade-bread-pudding-with-butter-rum-sauce-367906

d4rk is right that the low ABV helps. I used to bring Guinness cans to the Great Valley Canoe Regatta partly because it's nice beer and partly because at the time is was the best thing you could get in cans.

I grabbed a 6 of Twelve Gates' West Coast IPA (out of Williamsville) last time I was in Buffalo. It's pretty good, if I were local I'd check out their tap-room. http://12gatesbrewing.com/beer/west-coast-ipa/

I made something similar a few weeks ago for a party, and it was fantastic until the dish slid off the table and smashed.

Zemgus Girgensons - What is his future here?
MattPie replied to GASabresIUFAN's topic in The Aud Club
No love for HCHDDB? I like Girgs and want to see him succeed, but i'm worried about his ability to play in a system as others above have mentioned. The highest levels that he's played (NHL and Olympics) were on very non-system teams. This year (and maybe next) will be make-or-break to figure out if he can learn.
