I'm not sure I entirely agree, but it's true in this instance. More people doesn't necessarily mean more individual cost, but in this case you're inviting the people that were too costly to make a profit off of before so it works out that way. Depends on the job. My job (technical job where I sit at a desk), no correlation. A job where a lot of the work is schmoozing and meeting with people in non-work, perhaps. Even if you only look at Hillary Clinton as "the wife of Bill Clinton", traveling on international trips and meeting with heads of states, ambassadors, etc., even at dinner must give some insight into how the process works. This whole line of thought, though, is somewhat off from the start. If Hillary Clinton were only a first lady and nothing else, I'd agree. But she's also been a US Senator and a Secretary of State. The latter of those two jobs has to be one of the top few jobs that would prepare someone to be president. I may even place it above being a state governor due to the international aspect of the work. State Governors would have more experience with the "buck stops here" aspect, but I don't think a decisive person would have that much trouble with it.

Victory / Southern Tier, even if they bought each other or however that arrangement works.

I understand what you're saying, but it's unrealistic. You cannot address problems by treating everything equally. I had a pipe leaking in my house yesterday and I focused on that chore because it's a glaring issue. I didn't say, :"All Chores Matter" and go mow the lawn instead of fixing the water in the wall when the bath was running. If the brakes on my car are acting up, I don't say "All Maintenance Matters" and change the oil. When Evander Kane skates down the wing and takes some low-percentage shot, we don't say "All Shots Matter" and commend him for his Corsi. You solve problems by focusing on them. Black Lives matter is drawing focus to a gigantic problem in this country. "All lives matter" is a platitude. (I looked the word up to make sure I was using it right; it's exactly what I mean so I'm just pasting the definition in here: A platitude is a trite, meaningless, or prosaic statement, generally directed at quelling social, emotional, or cognitive unease. Platitudes are geared towards presenting a shallow, unifying wisdom over a difficult topic. However, they are too overused and general to be anything more than undirected statements with ultimately little meaningful contribution towards a solution.)

I use the vast majority of my paprika in paella and a panko crust to put on salmon in the oven.

Washington has the league-wide rights to that one.

KoP didn't have them the other day either. I'm not holding out hope for Collegeville, even if I had a reason to get up there. Also, I didn't realize you must be pretty close if we're talking about local Wegs; hey neighbor!

Maybe he didn't trade those guys and that's the problem.

I'm not sure Ovechkin still gets boos as much, but for awhile after he boarded Briere into the bench door they were loud. IIRC, after he scored a goal in a 6-1 Sabers win he held up his hand to his ear as if to say, "More boos, I love it".

Did Vegas not get permission to use Knights?

Yeah, it seems like the Outback has taken on the mantle of Subaru's "nice" car and costs reflect that. It's really unfortunate as it's fairly unique in terms of the market. No one else makes a largeish wagon (the Outback is surprisingly big inside compared to almost everything other than large SUVs and minivans).

Funny, I was just thinking about Jeeps this morning as something that'd be an OK solution when I get rid of my WRX. My car is 90% getting me to work and back these days and there's no way I can justify getting another one (as much as I love it). I'd think Jeep as it'd be fine in the winter (for me) and fun in the summer. Realistically I'll end up with a basic car or a base Impreza if I still want to have something AWD. I'd like the Impreza because the snow tires and rims I have for the WRX would probably fit.

If I recall correctly, Josie has a car that fits most of those requirements; perhaps becoming parents to two would be a good option. The newer ones (if you're in that neighborhood) are actually OK on gas. As for the rest, have you considered a motorcycle? :) (I'm not saying it's super cheap, but you could pick up a serviceable motorcycle or scooter for <$2000 and use that to eat up miles when it's nice out.) Doesn't solve your issue with having ready transport in the winter though.

We're all discussing it in HipChat and Slack.

Wait, are we talking about Sanders or Trump here? :)

It's not that hard to believe that someone in congress making $173k (or so) a year could save up enough money to buy a $600k house without being a sell-out.

I agree. The question is, can Gionta explain how he does that?

The question would be does Gionta wall into the "superstar" category that has a tough time explaining how what he's doing with his shot or can he teach? I'd tend to think a guy that once scored 50 goals (right?) falls into the "I just shoot the puck at the place where the goalie isn't going to be; easy!" camp.

I have a Victory mix pack in the fridge, which I'll forever call the Victory Summer Half Smell Hates pack: Summer Love, Vital IPA, Frisse Wiesse, and Cage Radler. (if you hate Gose, you'll probably hate Frisse Wiesse too!) http://www.victorybeer.com/beers/summer-selections/

I'd call it more trendy than cliche or marketing-based (at least for the smaller operations). I'm guessing there are brewing forums and magazines that will profile some oddball beer and everyone says, "hey, I'll give that a shot, it sounds like fun". I'm always game for something new so I don't mind a bit.

Cost. Any solution other than burying it in the ground would have cost a lot more. This is why we have regulations. As a said above, when profit (or cost) come into the mix, a lot of humanity will screw over the rest if it helps them.

Sadly, I haven't seen them at our store in awhile. My wife told me, however, that the store in Downingtown is the smallest Wegmans in the company one of very few that are in the plaza where they rent space. I'll have to look for the dogs in one of the other larger ones.

You;'d think a guy that does IP subnets on a really regular basis would have caught that.
