It is, but those counties are soooo small in population. The entire state of Wyoming's population is 2/3 Erie County (NY). Or for a more relevant reference to you, Wyoming has twice as many people as Dauphin County, PA.

That actually follows for most metropolitan areas around the country, even in solidly Republican states. Here's an active map: http://elections.nytimes.com/2008/results/president/map.html Here's a county map. Note that some counties in red states are red; those are usually around cities:

There's two ways to approach an election: go with ideals and choose the candidate that best represents your values. The other is to vote in such a way that gives you the best chance of having the election end a favorable manner for you. This year it's pretty easy to talk about third parties with the unlikeable major party candidates, but would you still be voting for a third party if one of the majors was a pretty good match for you and the election was tight? It's a tough call to say, "I'm not going to throw my lot in with a person I like and instead vote for someone I love but has no chance."

I seen what you did there.

true. Almost any time you hear "stream to your device" from a big media company, it means you're going to need a cable account. It's a bit maddening for stuff that's on broadcast TV though; that should be free! :)

Everyone dreams of playing in Toronto, or so Toronto media thinks.

I wonder how much this shift is driven by highlights on the internet. Many moons ago, there wasn't a reasonable way to see highlights other than EPSN and the like. Now, I'm not going to sit through an hour of TV to watch the minute (at best!) of highlights from the game I'm interested in; I'll just go to youtube and watch the 3-minute video. ESPN has to offer something more than "youtube highlight video aggregator", which they've gone to annoying personalities trying to cover all popular sports. Speaking of video aggregators, I'm betting there's a youtube playlist or other web site that essentially finds all the highlight videos from the night before and plays them back to back.

Jack Eichel, will he play center/centre this season?

You know, putting a Tim Hortons in a tree house would keep it away from ROR's pickup. -
Tonight's game blacked out on DirecTV for out of towners?
MattPie replied to Tony P's topic in The Aud Club
If the sports package means "I get a bunch of regional channels", the last time I had it it was SOP for games to be blacked out live (since they're "available" via CI in your local market). Back in 2002-04 the midnight replay on Empire Sports wouldn't be blacked out, but I don't know if that's still true. -
ROR is terrible, have you seen his +/- from last year? The archive feed I'm watching now is HD-ish on my phone.

Rewording the headline, Six Sabres draft picks, including one with Pun-friendly name, returned to Junior. If Pu had stuck around, that'd be notable as few 3rd-rounders do in after their first camp.

Like a dingleberry? (I had to. I'm sorry. I'll get me coat and be off.)

I'm not sure why I'm doing this: Corsi: this is raw shots. The guy that goes out and plays against Ovechkin, Crosby, and Eichel every shift is going to look worse than the guy on his team playing against the Pat Kaletas, Adam Mairs, and MFolignos of the league. The same goes for +/-.

Make sure to put an air vent in, we'd miss you otherwise.

A> Is there some rivalry between Penn State and the NCAA school he went to (if applicable) B> It's a standard college hockey thing

Bolded, good insight. That's real experiences. More memories that have been awakened: - A couple years ago, there burned-out house along US13 in Virginia with "KKK Burn Out" spray painted on the front. - For a friends bachelor party, I suggested a bar that I and groom liked and his black friend told us he couldn't go there because he worried he'd get strung up. Guy was a Marine that was a spitting image of Tiki Barber (both face and build)

What's your definition? If people saying things like "Mexicans are all rapists and drug dealers" or "Black people are lazy criminals", you don't have to look very far. And yes, I consider those things racist. Someone once said to me, "it was better when the police kept them in one area of town." This person was born in the 60s, so we're certainly not talking about pre-Civil Rights.

The same way "It ran last time I parked it" is a common refrain for cars. Things corrode and age with time; rats chew wires. Further, start-up is the most stressful part of many device's cycle; computer hard disks fail most often on booting up. Appliances and human bodies create heat. Think about going to a crowded bar or concert where it's a ton hotter inside than outside for an extreme case.

How about the Key-shka? (Also, I have no idea where the video mash-up came from)

Come on, someone on the Sabres had to have had an awesome Jeff Lynn-style fro back before mandatory helmets. Help me out, I'm just a youngin.

One of them, and I don't care which, should do the old, "offer the hand and pull it away to smooth their hair" trick.

So loss in regulation, right?

Evander Kane arrested on misdemeanor charge for June nightclub incident

If that's his way of saying he'll stop slumming and on the lookout for rando hookups, I'll take it. -
It could be Broasted Chicken, that's better than boiled. For me, KBC: Korean Bucket Company, makers of not all that fine motorsport helmets (including MattPie's first street motorcycle helmet)

It's bright enough, the navy blue will look like Royal.
