I did the math recently, and buying certain craft brews are cheaper per alcohol unit than light beer. In some cases, the calories work out too. I just switch in a quart of water between beers to stay hydrated if I'm doing something outside. I was kinda cheating, I can get Storm King for <$40 case at Victory, which stacks up well against any beer and everything else I'd want to drink. Hop Devil is the same price and doesn't quite edge out light beer, but I get to drink Hop Devil.

Besides the concessions income lost (or at least the contract money lost to whomever runs the cocessions), $3M / 75000 is $40 per seat. That seems a little low.

At one time, ESPN was the gorilla in the room and had cable providers over a barrel. Back in the day when there were only 50-60 channels on your average cable they had huge ratings.

Looks like Youtube TV is carrying NBC and NBCSN in their $35/month plan. That should catch a lot of the playoffs, considering it appears it's getting the NBC hench-networks as well (including the golf channel for the Sabres 2017 post-season). I'm not bothering with it this year, but when the Sabres are in the playoffs doing it for two months is a lot cheaper than going out to bars every other night, if not as enjoyable. 2nd paragraph: you could also argue that picking up dynasty cast-offs hasn't actually produced a cup, or even that many sustained periods of good. They went for stretches making the playoffs, but I believe 16 of 21 teams made the playoffs in the 80s so it's not as impressive as it would sound.

You can never have too much RB depth, even at the expense of starters in other positions. ;)
