  1. Ah, the old canard - the race card. Nice try. My distaste and disapproval for and of Obama has nothing to do with race and everything to do with his judgment, leadership, competence, performance, and ideology, among others. I could care less what color he happens to be, but since I know you don't know me or what I stand for, I don't expect you to believe me. But I will tell you, unequivocally, that you have no right throwing the race card at me based on my prior use of his middle name or initial on this board. I, for one, would love to see Ben Carson as our next President, so may I ask what does that make me by your twisted logic? I care deeply about this country and would be inspired by a strong leader with character and competence like Dr. Ben Carson.
  2. nice rebuttal - again, you are factually incorrect and overexaggerating for attempted melodramatic effect. Keep on with it if it makes you feel better, but if you want to get stuck in the minutiae, you're just making yourself look foolish.
  3. and I "never don't mention it" is factually incorrect and an over exaggeration.
  4. OK as you're keeping score, I'll leave it as Obama, it makes no difference to me. BHO happens to be the legal shorthand for his name, and frankly it is quicker and easier to write. But since it gets your panties in a wad and supposedly diminishes "every else" I have to say, I could care less. If you don't like the message or my opinion, try to distract by calling attention to a middle initial.....I get it, a surefire way to change the dialogue.
  5. that's about it, except maybe the SS for a deserter Gee, I don't know - maybe you're on to something since you went out of your way to mention it
  6. some examples - beheading 10 & 16 yr old boys on suspicion that they were spies, murdering those who attended a mixed gender party, executing a 15 yr old girl in Pakistan who had spoken out in favor of education for women. yeahhh, just garden variety "prisoners of war" as part of an everyday, wartime prisoner swap..... :wallbash: . And POTUS has no regrets & no apologies, appearing very defiant to all. Great precedent you have set, BHO. What do you have in store for us next as part of the remaining lame duck time of your Presidency? I can't wait to find out.....
  7. Great points you have added, what a craptastic day - and I think we can all agree that in no way does Bob Bergdahl's long robe offer homage to ZZ Top......far from it, I would surmise.
  8. Aside from the rampant speculation about Bergdahl's possible desertion and possible collaboration with the Taliban (read the eyewitness accounts of his platoon mates who have come forward with knowledge that subsequent Taliban/Haqqani IED strikes were carried out with unprecedented, pinpoint, deadly precision; indicative of an inside job), the following unsettling facts have come to light in the last 48 hours: our commander in chief violated the law he pushed by failing to provide the House/Senate committees 30 days notice of his intent to broker the swap; he naively thought he'd create a PR coup by staging the phony "hero's welcome" in the Rose Garden with Bergdahl's parents....this has blown up in his face. Maybe he should have staged a similar ceremony honoring the family of a loved one who died while awaiting treatment at a VA Hospital....oops, that would not have the desired effect and would not be politically expedient; this prisoner/deserter swap with the Taliban dream team of top 5 was done coincidentally right on the heels of the VA fiasco and resulting firestorm - regardless of one's opinion of Bergdahl, he is a political pawn, a court jester in Monarch Obama's fiefdom. the naivete and utter arrogance of Obama's disregard for the rule of law is beyond shocking and is now (and has been for some time) clearly impeachable; he has set a very deadly & dangerous precedent by showing the U.S, (at least under his Administration) is open for business in negotiating with the Taliban - expect more hostage and ransom activity to take place, and Americans abroad to be put in harm's way because of the actions of Barry's political agenda Obama brazenly, and, again, naively admitted that the freed Taliban Dream Team would very likely return to active hostile action. Video was shown of the being welcomed as heroes as if they had scored a coup, which they clearly have Flame away as I am sure those here on the Left will do - I am beyond disgusted by the shameless, careless actions of this President.
  9. will he return to Buffalo with the team or not? If he never left the arena, that sounds very bad....
  10. hey Rayzor - "acrost" is not a word, just a heads up
  11. freaking 55 to 23. That is outrageous. Neuvirth deserved better with a 94.3% SV percentage. He should be suing for abandonment.
  12. you are mistaken that anything which comes out of mouth is coherent
  13. completely BS call - if anything it could have been a slash, which it wasn't even ....crap call, that ref thought he saw something
  14. sorry, he played a helluva lot better tonight. Can't fault him for getting clipped by the goalie while he was going for the puck. I don;t think you watched the same Stewart everyone else did tonight.
  15. please elaborate .... because he missed on a breakaway ??
  16. tank or no tank, you really have to admire how this team is playing = all in Myers Enroth Foligno the Nolan effect (I hope TM now gets the contract signed by Nolan)
  17. Rayzor just said Foligno has the "whereabouts" to pick up the puck and clear.....uhhh, that would be wherewithal Rob..... :wallbash: , but you knew that, right ?
  18. Craig Custance from ESPN weighs in with his trade grades - A minus for both MIN & BUF http://insider.espn.go.com/blog/craig-custance/post?id=1639 I took note of what he wrote about Moulson and, sadly, this speaks to the reasons I wish we could have kept him - or will get him back....... Of all the rental wingers available, Matt Moulson might be the best fit for a contender. Thomas Vanek has higher-end skill, but teams really like the way Moulson plays. “He’s what I’d really like to be looking for,” one interested general manager said earlier this week. “He goes to the hard areas.” That’s not necessarily the case for some of the other wingers. Moulson’s production dropped when he left John Tavares' wing, but whose wouldn’t? “[He’s a] natural goal scorer,” one NHL scout said following the trade to Minnesota. “Ideally needs someone to get him the puck. Good down low around the crease.” The Wild are currently No. 25 in the NHL in scoring, averaging 2.36 goals per game. Bringing in a 30-goal scorer definitely helps the cause. He’s a guy teammates love, was close with Tavares, and should have no problem acclimating to his third team this season.
  19. I spotted this gem on CNNSI, with a good read on his backhand and puck skills http://extramustard.si.com/2014/03/06/hockey-prodigy-connor-mcdavid-scores-goal-of-the-year-candidate/?eref=sihp
  20. Agreed, I trust TM has done his homework on Fasching and Deslauriers.
  21. http://www.hockeysfuture.com/prospects/nicolas_deslauriers/ re: the bolded, the Sabres are loaded for bear on the back end, and have enough in the tank to swing a deal, hence the trade w./ LA
  22. McNabb to LA for 2 2nd round pick, Fasching & Deslaurier coming back, pending trade call
  23. just saw your reference to Mayor's Manor, sorry
  24. Saw a tweet on TSN that the Flyers might be interested in Halak
