I don't quite understand this rotation thing. You're telling me that setup this rotation from day 1 and Peterka wasn't a part of it but Quinn was? I'm not sure I buy that. Is it actually a rotation if someone can graduate from it that quickly?

Who is getting the Sabres first 5 minute major this year?

Crap, I was going to say Anderson. -
One of the grocery stores out here has the "parents with small children" parking spot. It made me wonder when I saw it, I have a small child but he's not wasn't with me. Can I still park there? I mean, of course I can park there. There is no law about those spots like there is with the handicap spots, but I'm not going to be a richard and use them anyway.

UNO and Alaska Fairbanks postgame handshake ends in a fight

I can’t speak for his reasoning. But then again, I’ve got about 80% of the posts on this board on ignore now because some like to think they know what another person is thinking better than the actual person does. But anyway, I saw I always get to stuff late around here and I saw it here first. I’m not even sure what the other thread is but I’ll find it eventually. Anyway, I’d you want to take issue with the word gang, ok, but there was definitely a large group going after one or two guys. Espn put out a video that shows some pretty clear shots of one guy taking multiple helmet swings at the the Michigan player’s head. It happened, there’s no denying that. With police investigating, assault charges may ver well come into play. If you want to know how it’s different than the idiocy of the hockey brawl, I suggest you count bodies. But then again, the video picks it up already in progress, so I have no idea what sparked it and how it got to that state. -

From my point of view it looked like you were arguing that something never happened, found out it did, then decided to keep piling on rather than admit the mistake. -

I saw a couple clips early today of the helmet swinging. It definitely happened. There are a few too many clips out there and it's tough to figure out exactly when is happening when and where, but there probably should be assault charges for this one. I'm not quite sure why we need to start going on the racial garbage here for what there really should be no argument about was a seriously ugly incident. It's a hockey board for ****s sake, not a game of accuse the racist. edit: The board eliminates vulgarities now instead of replacing them with the asterisks I just put back in? -
And all that after the cancer scare too. One quick question. Am I also not funny when I used to claim that his brother who played in college at UNH actually grew from that ball that they had to cut out?

I'm not sure if it was your goal, but I got a really good laugh out of the two bolded portions. It sounds like he's that last pair of underwear with the giant hole in it that you keep in the bottom of the drawer just in case you're way too lazy to do laundry.

I love the stuff from the announcers during that first drive where the Packers got their TD in the first half. All that talk about trying to eat up the clock so you can keep the opposing offense off the field as much as possible. That's a bold strategy when you're down 14.

Thanks, I wasn't able to find it. The guy is out there tackling with body checks. It's hilarious.

Was it Jordan Phillips who threw the incredible shoulder check at the line of scrimmage last night? I can think of a depleted blue line that needs some help.

Houser does not have an NHL contract. If he sees any time in Buffalo, it’s because the team is screwed.

Handshake lines after regular season games… it’s just asking for trouble -
Cap space saved today accumulates over the course of the year and can be used later. If you spend half the year with $2 million in free space, you can add a $4 million player the rest of the way. So moving him now would give them a good amount of wiggle room come deadline time.
-
Pump up attendance a bit by giving away some tickets.
-
Do they need to consider going Regis-style and papering the crowd a bit?
-
Cap space. $2.2 million is a lot for a guy who isn't playing on a team that is at the cap.
-
This is where we find out if they’re a new team or not. The typical Sabres turn a stretch like this into a 5 or 6 game losing streak.

Oh it's just about every cashier down here. Most are able to get the message that zero eye contact = shut the F up, but there are a few who don't. There's this one kid at one of the grocery stores down here who I will actively avoid. His line can have only one person and I'll still go over to the 5 people with overloaded shopping carts line instead. And why does that line have so many more people already? They're avoiding him too.

Just focus on the name of the arena because it's absolutely amazing.

I've been buying a lot of pavers at Lowe's lately for a yard project. The cashiers have a ton of trouble finding the right price for them. I don't even want to know how that would work out at a self checkout. Not having to deal with an overly chatty cashier is all the reason I need to love self checkout. I'm sure it's mostly a southern thing, but there are cashiers around here who will ask you what your plan is for every single item you buy. "The shovel's for you if you keep asking questions".

I don't know if anyone goes to AMC theaters, but they play an ad before the movie with Nicole Kidman looking about as plastic as humanly possible. Yeah, he looks like that.

It’s looking like his deal with the devil is finally coming due.
