GDT: Leafs @ Sabres - Thu. 7 pm ET, Dec 21, 2023, MSG-B đș WGR đ»
shrader replied to Spoonman's topic in The Aud Club
Man, after watching the high quality goaltending on display for most of those Sabres goals, that game really was the stoppable force vs the movable object. -
They already had NHL games played when they came to the NHL? Thatâs pretty impressive.
-
The guy from Toronto who played at RIT? I'm not so sure that's the guy who automatically has Buffalo on a no trade list.
-
QB is a completely different position today than it was then. I hate having to make any historical comparisons like this.

All 32 NHL Locker Rooms Ranked - Guess Whoâs Number 1
shrader replied to K-9's topic in The Aud Club
The video is kind of pointless. Does the room smell? Does it have hot water? Itâs based solely on how the rooms look in various picture, not on actual useful information. -
He has a 4.76 goals against average when playing the Panthers. Does that count?
-
Iâve always wondered if there is an Uncle Raanta.
-
Or maybe really ugly glasses?
-
It canât be. Pittsburgh would be at the top of the list for old man rushes for, not against.
-
Iâd love to see a breakdown by the type of odd man rush. Yeah, a 3 on 2 isnât ideal, but Iâll take them over a 3 on 1 or a clear breakaway.
-
If thatâs Comrie, it doesnât count⊠not that it actually counts anyway
-
Who are you sending down/out to make room for that once Tuch/Greenway/Quinn/Girgensons are healthy? Murray is obviously the first to go. After that itâs time to waive Bryson. Who is next, Robinson if his game falls off? Jost? They wonât have the roster flexibility to carry 3 anymore now because hat three new guys have been added to the NHL mix (Johnson, Quinn, Robinson).
-
The box score says 2 minutes for roughing against Zibanejad, so it was the scrum after that clip cut off.
-
I donât know. I feel like midseason is the right time to be adding out guys who fill up those 4th line roles. Thatâs when youâre going to find guys like this, cast offs who are going to turn it up a notch in hopes of sticking with the new team. Iâm not so sure that same drive is there if theyâre with the team from day 1.
-
Good god, why would you turn your head to watch a drop pass when you know there is a defenseman right on you?
-
He's exempt from waiver until he plays 10 games with the Sabres or reaches a certain number of days on the roster (I forget that number). They can send him down to Rochester without exposing him to any other teams.
-
As taro mentioned earlier, he doesnât have to clear waivers to be sent back down.
-
This story from a few years ago has been popping up a bit since Sunday. They ask if theyâre lined up properly too.
-
I know, you'll see it all the time during games. Usually it's a guy lined up wide though, practically right next to the ref on the line. Actually though, I thought it was mostly about making sure they had the right number of guys lined up on the line of scrimmage.
-
How do you even check in with the sideline ref when you are practically at mid-field, not even the player closest to that sideline? And to follow that one up, how do you not realize you're that far offside when you are, what, 10 feet away from the ball?
-
I still prefer âno lateralâ.
-
Once is more times than you can remember? It may be time to put the bong down.
-
So heâll line up a ton of checks and then just miss completely?
-
And thereâs a red lined up right on that line of scrimmage on both sides of the field. They canât possibly miss a call like that (unless they get a text from their gambling overlordsđ).
-
I mean after an hour or two. Theyâre still hot headed morons during those postgame press conferences. I know youâre pretty much never going to blame your own guy, but by now they have to realize how bad they (Mahomes and Reid) look with these rants.
