  1. That guy who I always think of with all the Rusmus' this team now has. I didn't want to say it since it was somewhat of a google result. I wasn't sure whether or not he was born in Mn. This was my third. I wasn't sure if he got into a cup final game or not based on the fewer games played in the playoffs.
  2. Even with the internet I'm having a hard time with the 3rd guy. I think I have it, but I'll wait and see how this plays out.
  3. The connection I was getting at had nothing to do with Perreault. Housley and Andreychuk were drafting in the same year, both in the first round. The Sabres also drafted Paul Cyr in between them. I sure would love to get that same return out of the three picks they have next year. I'll accept a mediocre Cyr if the other two are hall of famers.? As for your question, I can get Holzinger from the 99 team right away.
  4. Those top two may just be the top guys on the entire list though, depending on who does the ranking. That's definitely a rarity.
  5. There's actually a third guy who ties into the interesting connection. And another one I just realized now, both of those guys were traded away for another eventual hall of famer.
  6. It drops off pretty quickly considering that the top two guys on the list won't qualify as prospects anymore after this season, using the criteria they outline. I suppose #4 Guhle could fall of too if things go well for him this year.
  7. I hope I counted up this fairly easy one correctly... The Sabres have drafted three hall of famers. Name them. As a side note, there's an interesting connection between two of them.
  8. Everything about Vegas as a whole fits this description. I welcome all conspiracy theories when it comes to that team.
  9. Usually I suggest a sledge hammer to the head to knock you out, but that probably wouldn't mix well with the dental work.
  10. These things seem to pop up from time to time with the european imports. If it is in fact the case, I'll give the kid credit for sticking with Miami instead of just jumping to UCONN instead. And before anyone asks, I mention UCONN because they took on a couple guys a few years ago after they couldn't meet other school's admission standards. I'd suspect there's either a slight language barrier or that school stuff from europe may have not transferred over to US standards as well as they hoped. Think of it like a credit issue with colleges. Edit: Ahh, crap, you're talking about participation in camp. The college guys are free to participate in those all they want. They just can't sign.
  11. I was planning on getting my car inspected tomorrow and I think it knows it. Yesterday the check engine light turned on and today it's down a headlight. I've been in my house for 3 years now and over that time, I've changed more lights in the car than in the entire house.
  12. This reminds me of the giant circle of burned out grass we had in our yard growing up for years after my dad took gasoline to a bees nest and lit it. Not really the best move, but it's nice when you have a constant reminder of your past errors.
  13. See, now if you could figure out a way to boost the power, you could just slam that zapper into the ground Thor style and kill them all in cinematic fashion.
  14. I had no idea such a product existed. It looks like there's a whole world of potential when it comes to non-bug zapping fun with that thing. The possibilities are endless, especially if someone decides to modify it and up the voltage.
  15. Actually it's based off of a book, at least originally. The wife read it a few years ago. The show quickly branched away from that though and then probably starts to follow the show you're mentioning.
  16. That seems to be the MO for the woman who created Weeds. She has certainly done the same thing with Orange is the New Black. It starts out pretty well, but then with each new season, it jumps all over the place, losing any coherency.
  17. Are you sure it was a twitter account or were you just watching the Wrath of Khan again?
  18. Please tell me that first one is actually a taser.
  19. I'm pretty sure people just think up these things randomly just to see if someone is stupid enough to try it. Someone with an overactive imagination pieces something together and it floats around on the internet for a while until someone gets bored. It's kind of like the mind-boggling physics you'll find if you search through random urban dictionary entries. On another note, I'm planning on getting my car inspected on friday, but then the check engine light turned on this morning. I can't tell if this is good timing or not.
  20. I don't know if that's the case here. But either way, traffic was just heavy enough that I would only get a short window where I definitely would have had to go over the limit to clear him/her in time. So maybe it was a moving speed trap of some sort, I don't know.
  21. Yesterday I got stuck behind a cop going 60 in a 65 zone if the left lane on the highway. I'd love to know what that guy was doing, but there was no chance in hell that I was going to pass him.
  22. But if they play it every day, it is in fact in their rotation. In general, the demographics for those stations aren't going to have an issue with it, so there's nothing forced about it.
  23. I suppose it's not pandering any more than some other station who might have their own pre-set programming at a specific time. I know 103.3 used to have manditory Metalica at a certain time each day. In both cases, they're playing to their audiences.
  24. Are they viewed as the smart team now? They massively underachieved for over a decade and now finally broke through. I need to see more consistency from them before I hand them that label. Then again, I guess I did just describe consistency with a one year aberration.
  25. It's amazing what they've been able to do with all of their movies. They can't do it as much with the team up movies, but the each stand alone franchise has a distinctly different feel or style than the others (although it does feel like they've moved away from that a bit lately by over-injecting everything with humor). Running with your chip analogy, I like salt and vinegar chips while others might like sour cream and onion instead. The right flavor is out there for most people if they're willing to sample.
