Movies / TV Shows - I Have Watched / Plan To Watch
shrader replied to Sabres Fan in NS's topic in The Aud Club
I just watched it for the first time on Sunday. Unfortunately, I then followed it up with the sequel. -

They gave us a new coffee mug during the move. It seems like the perfect option, just enough weight to both travel distance and do damage. -

Low cubicle walls means that I can throw something at them with deadly accuracy. -
A trade proposal so dumb that we should talk about it: P Kane to Buffalo

We have to at least get a 5th round pick in addition to Kane in that one.? -

Wearing it at the office is a completely different story. I feel like inky is talking about the people you still occasionally see wearing them out in public. I saw one of those guys the other day walking into Walmart. I feel like it's usually older people doing that, not senior citizen old but maybe somewhere in their 50s, maybe slightly south of that. They would be the people who tend to hold onto slightly older technology (I'm not judging, I'm probably one of them). But yeah, some form of it is an absolute must in the office setting, especially the open floor concept that places are tending towards lately. Strangely enough, we just moved into one of those today. I'm not looking forward to the first person who goes speaker phone, but you know someone will. -

It can't be easy never having a tv at any point during your life. -

I'd still rather see them instead of the person holding their iphone about a foot in front of their face while it's set to speakerphone. -

I've never understood why that one is so loved. It's passable, but that's it. If I happen to bump into it on tv at this time of the year, I keep looking for something else. Christmas Vacation is the one movie I will throw on even if there's only 5 minutes left. My big two are always Die Hard and Gremlins. I'm not going to get into the whole Christmas movie or not thing, but these are two movies I always watch at this time of the year. -

You keep digging yourself into a deeper and deeper whole. You really need to put the shovel down. -

That’s not what he was asking about in the poll. Of course headphone are different than ear piece guy. -
You’re the self proclaimed Sabre jinx. You need to take one for the team and turn off the tv.

Leave and never come back.
-
I don’t remember seeing any changes to it.

Expect the flood gates to open from here. Those people are like vultures. Once your info is out there on a source they can pull from, they all have it. I still get emails based on a resume I posted probably 15 years ago. They never have anything to do with the work I do, but those people will not fill positions unless they try.

Kadri is one mean dude if he can injure McCabe by hitting Nelson.?

I had forgotten about that one. But wow, we really have to dig back a long time to find another one. And googling the history, he had the job (AFL) for only three months thanks to the merger. That's quite the tenure right there.
-
I wonder if his status as a former player might impact things as well. There could very well be some CBA issues on this one.
-
Fortunately you should be able to see some immediate results if there is some truth to it.

I'm not really up on my knowledge of the background of pro sport commissioners. Have many had a history in ownership? Selig's the only one that comes to mind and he did transfer his ownership of the Brewers to his daugher before taking the job. So in that case, it definitely stayed in the family.

It seems like it could be a big conflict of interest seeing as how he's a part of the media now, granted he is a team employee. Also, once you walk away from the game, I'd imagine that players would want to avoid doing something that might give them the itch.

I was under the impression that the Dallas portion of your statement only applied if his original waiver period of 10 games/30 days had expired. Maybe that's been tweaked over the years.
