That's not completely true. Buffalo could include that in a trade, but it would have to be tied into a condition of it's own. Essentially it would be "Buffalo trades either the 3rd or 4th round pick, whichever is retained after the deal with Pittsburgh is complete". Look at San Jose as an example. They already owed us their 1st round pick in either 2019 or 2020 from the Kane deal. They then traded either their 2020 or 2019 first round pick to Ottawa in the Karlsson deal. The conditions of those two deals are perfectly reversed, so the deal was fine to make. So yeah, you can't include conditions in a future deal that contradict the terms of previously made deals. As long as they don't, it's fine.

I'm glad you threw in this part because far too often that's left out completely. People love pointing fingers but so many tend to stop right there. That's what I find to be pointless. My sink is leaking. Oh well, gotta keep eating my lunch.

I just popped in to see if people continue to make broad sweeping generalizations instead of dealing with the incident at hand I was not disappointed Seriously, why is there the need to throw an entire profession under the bus due to the actions of some of them? Do you gain some sort of moral high ground by lumping them all together? I expect this sort of condescending tone from some, but you’re better than this

There's never any rhyme or reason.

kev hit probably the most obvious one in Owens. He's in now, but it took far too long. There's also a bit more in play with them, but I think it's does play a rolewhen it comes to Bonds and Clemens. If they were likeable guys, a few more people would look the other way on the steroid stuff. Honestly, I'm not so sure why anyone from that era is given a pass.

It's truly amazing that a guy with such a track record of horrible actually has a Cup on his record.
-
I'd take that over the current practice of "he was mean to me once, so I'll never vote for him".
-
Hopefully it finally puts the "you can't be unanimous" stupidity to a rest. But yes, I kind of chuckled a bit that it was a closer who finally broke through on that one.
-
Does any HoF actually restrict their votes to just players and front office types? Grudges are going to exist there too, but I think it would lead to much more palatable results.

The other day I didn't realize that when you run out of regular rifle ammo, it automatically switches to explosive ammo. I wasn't expecting that gator to blow up.

I really wanted to check out that body after I took care of them, but I wound up being wanted and had to get away before I could check it out. I don't know if there was anything more I could do, but I would have at least tried to shoot out the rope. My most recent encounter was with a KKK ceremony in the woods. That one was pretty hilarious.

Those guys are funny. Come running at me with a knife while I'm on horseback? Bullet to the face.

I was watching the news last night. When they got to sports, the reporter did a long intro for Rivera, making a huge deal out of how he was the first person to ever be voted in unanimously. When they cut back to the lead anchor, his immediate comment was "that's really rare, usually a few people don't vote for a player. Where's the banging your head against the wall emoji when you need it?

Sam has always been doing it, but it's gotten a bit over the top in the last couple years. Winter lager is gone at the start of January, even though that's pretty much the heart of winter. I'm not so sure you can get Oktoberfest in October.
-
You don't take on a guy with 3-4 years left on a contract (I forget the exact number) if you aren't planning on him being around for more than two months. They full expected him to be a part of this team for multiple seasons. Getting out from his deal was obviously not a part of any plan.
-
I'd love to see a plan that actually works with zero deviations.

The Pronger trade also brought in more than just that pick and the pick used for Eberle. I'm too lazy to see where those branches go. But anyway, that second round pick is pretty complicated. It bounced around a bit in a series of exchanges.

If someone were to sit in the room and watch me play RDR2, they'd be very worried for my future. I was working on some hunting missions that had me walking circles around a pond and shooting every single duck or bird I saw. One particular spot wound up with a pile of about 15 birds.

Now you just need to find something to put in the toothbrush slots. What would go well with the beer? And on a side note, I hate that Sam has their spring beers out already. They always jump the gun on changing those over. That and the spring pack has Sam 76 in it. Isn't that out all year? That's 50% of the spring pack that you already get whenever you want.

I did the same two weeks ago. Speeds are through the roof now. Worth every penny

Some of these trades? Was there something other than the Bailey move?
-
But it does give you the opportunity to follow it up with the first game. Might be worthwhile. That one was pretty good.

These are the kind of things that drive me crazy. You're black, but if you act a certain way or grow up in a certain place, you're not actually black. We just had the conversation yesterday about how stereotypes are bad, but then this line of thought is still so prevalent. It's a never ending circle of stupidity.
-
I haven't been spoiled at all, but having played the first game, it seems pretty clear what has to happen to most of these people.

Saved $1.25 million in cap space. Maybe they've got more planned.
