  1. Right, but the poster asked specifically about undrafted. There's no need to dig in the heels here. Typically it is going to be very different players that go the two routes. Your guys are good players who have been recognized as such for years and choose to go that route. The guys who are currently undrafted free agents today are more of the late bloomers. It is very rare for there to even be a drafted college free agent as of this calendar date, too many hoops to jump through, so they're not a relevant topic just yet.
  2. That kid's going to grow up to be soft. Clearly it wasn't a real table.
  3. Going 5th overall, you might as well be undrafted.? At least I can understand the mixup on this one, becoming a free agent after refusing to sign with Phoenix.
  4. That's one level where I have a serious issue with fighting. You've got a bunch of teenagers out there and that takes the risks of the head injuries to a whole new level. Let them go, ok, but a fighting penalty should be the end of their night. People always like to say the players know the risks in situations like this, but not when it comes to a bunch of kids out there. I see that they now have suspensions for three getting into three fights over the course of the year, so that's at least a start. I also know that some people will say that teenagers fight all the time. That doesn't mean it should be condoned.
  5. But avoid the S-A-B-E-R-S spelling in the future. I'm all for tar and feathering when that shows up.
  6. I hope the one on the left has an Eichel jersey too because that kid has his hair. I don't really care one bit about the so called holiday, but my very Irish neighbors through a big party each year. It's the superbowl of neighborhood parties around here, so I enjoy that as much as possible. I'm the only one not wearing any green though.
  7. I went to a school with a little rat dog as a mascot. This is one case where mine is actually more intimidating.
  8. How many more times are we going to have to talk about Streisand in this thread?
  9. Are you a fish fry person? I’d be curious to see if they’re as bad in Charlotte as they are in Raleigh. They don’t quite understand that it’s supposed to be crispy and not a soggy mess.
  10. Yeah, but hockey's been married for a while now, so fights are pretty rare.
  11. Quite honestly, I expect that penalty to become larger eventually. In this day and age of concern over concussions, I don't know how they're going to be able to let people punch each other in the face and then play again later in the game. Now I know that some will say that it can't be done, but just look at the NCAA. That's a high level of hockey that gets along just fine without it. Yes, it still happens, but they do it knowing that a steep punishment is coming their way.
  12. Wayne, Gordie, and Bobby?
  13. Yeah, but he missed out on his prediction of nothing but net.
  14. Looking back on this, I thought I had posted it in the random thread. It was in now way awesome. Those pats fans are so easy to set off if you want to. The persecution complex they have is crazy.
  15. Not that I'm expecting anything from Buffalo, but are their any of the bigger fish left out there on the market at this point?
  16. Your party sounds a bit more authentic than theirs. It's more of your typical party food as opposed to the corned beef. The Guinness on a nitro tap is a nice touch though. If you've ever been to Tapline, those folks set them up with it. The one downside to all of this for this weekend though is that my mom set up a memorial mass for my dad on Saturday at 5. I can't really bail on that, so I have to leave the party very early (hopefully I get back later) and can't really enjoy that nitro tap.
  17. Sounds fortunate to me actually. But anyway, someone in the area buy this man a beer! I passed on this one a while ago. I'm not wasting money on a product that I know I'm not going to enjoy. My neighbors are having their annual St. Patrick's day party anyway. It's the superbowl of parties in this neighborhood.
  18. Sadly this list doesn't include their previous team, but you'll find plenty. It's all going to depend on your definition of "made an impact". The recent part will also be somewhat limited since the list requires 100 games played. Edit: And now I found this column through google which specifically describes a few.
  19. It's an Amerk contract. Nothing to see here.
  20. It sounds like you were one of the lucky ones to miss out on the Wolverine origin movie and their use of Gambit. Only one good thing came out of that movie and it was the mid-credit scenes in Deadpool 2.
  21. They've certainly been busy. I don't have the slightest clue who any of these guy are at this point, but then again, I've officially reached the point where I wouldn't recognize a single Bills player if they were to knock on my door right now.
  22. I'd worry a bit about the subjectivity of such a rule. For the obvious words, sure, no problem. But there will be cases that could get into a bit of a gray area. And as for the bolded, I'm all for finally eliminating the misuse of their/they're.?
  23. I've never really understood the point of projecting a lineup prior to the draft, knowing significant change is still to come.
  24. Wait a second. All these years later and they're missing out on their chance to finally sign Taro?
  25. Thank you Al Gore.
