See, this is the exact opposite read I get from where the thread went after that comment. It turned to a "would you sign him" angle instead of what you're suggesting.
-
I'd imagine that there's still a decent number of guys left from that team who might take issue with that statement.

Thanks to the head start here, I got them all. Off the top of my head I can go backward to Sator, so I won't hurt PA's game by finishing off his list.

... and what was the question?

I'm going to go ahead and rule out Hunwick since he's nothing more than fodder. At this point, Risto is the second most experienced defenseman on this team, second to only Bogosian. With 6 seasons under his belt, I'd say he's graduated from that young player label at this point, regardless of his actual age. Edit: Oops, forgot Scandella, so make him #3. Still, the point stands.

I was hoping for one of those online quizzes where you list them (what's that site called?). I could never do them in order, but I'd be curious to see how many I could name.

I don't know if they'll remember that one, but they'll certainly remember the inferior drooling goof who constantly stared at them and ran to the computer to post about them.? And then when they're down this way, they'll convince my mockingbirds to take their attacks to a new level, finally eliminating that other message board fool.

I'm guessing that SDS's point is that the portion right before what he bolded from Callaway's post, being the "best human being possible" makes the rest redundant. You take care of that part, you've already got everything covered. But anyway, having not set foot in that stadium in a very long time and having lost interest in the team, I've always been out of the loop on this one. How did he get to that iconic fan status (if such a thing really exists) that he has had in recent years?

Friedman Says Ralph Kruger has a Legit Shot at Sabres HC Position

If you keep doing that, I'm going to get to the point where I want to call the guy Nordberg. -

Seeing as how he has no source, would this be like dividing by zero where there is no real answer? -

Pilut Undergoes Shoulder Surgery -- Out 5-6 Months
shrader replied to Brawndo's topic in The Aud Club
Am I completely making things up or have I seen more of these long term surgeries around the league this offseason than normal? It makes me wonder if teams/players are leaning a bit more towards procedures that might fall a bit closer to the "elective" label. -

I won't say all the time, but he does that a lot when he edits posts. -
I think we may have a winner.

If it's the one I'm thinking it was, I'd say yeah, it's probably better to link to something that is incredibly long. If nothing else, it saves us from that inevitable moment where multiple people quote the whole thing.

Don't worry. They'll report a different front runner on Tuesday, then they'll have another new one on Wednesday. -
A relative maybe. There isn't a spec of blue anywhere on these birds and google is telling me that female blue jays are still blue. Mine are gray/black and white. I see them sitting on my gutters a lot, so I'll try to take a picture sometime to help me figure this out.

Microwave? Blasphemy. Everyone knows it's a tailgate charcoal grill or nothing.

How far is Princeton from that area?
-
Why would it even be a concern? Even if he was, it's not like there's another goalie in the organization they would have any interest in protecting.

Bowness and Martin? That's the first 12 years of their head coaching history.

I wish they were as easy to identify as the million cardinals I always see flying around. My mother-in-law tells my wife that if you see a cardinal, it's a dead family member visiting you. Clearly she's never spent much time down here. We'd officially count as haunted if that idea was true. My personal favorite bird moment down here was a few years ago during election season. This house by the exit to our neighborhood had a yard sign for a random local race. One day, a giant hawk was perched on top of that sign. I took a picture and wanted to dig up the candidate's info and send it to him/her. You could not make a better election time "America" image than that.
-
I don't know what kind of birds we have around our house*, but they take a very similar approach. They buzz me every time I park and get out of my car. There will be a group of them circling and one dives down about a foot above my head. They've even attacked my neighbor's dog. They don't seem to have as much blood lust this year so far, but instead they're crap machines. I'd much rather deal with the blood lust. *Seriously, even googling "birds of NC" or "birds of wake county" hasn't helped one bit. Google has helped me to rule out the grackle though, so at least it still has some use.

This whole process is great. The only thing I've learned is that the Sabres run a very tight ship and absolutely nothing leaks out. The media reports can be summarized as "everyone's a candidate". -
An interim coach to start the season? If I'm a free agent and I see that, I'm immediately crossing that team off the list. It screams "team with no direction". Now, the team might not make it so obvious by actually using that title, but I'd imagine that it would be very obvious if they were taking that approach.
