Would they be required to hand over any of those documents? That seems unnecessary, especially for a civil case, but I have no idea how those things work.

So does the guy actually have one of the glasses on him? Hard to prove anything without that

Movies / TV Shows - I Have Watched / Plan To Watch
shrader replied to Sabres Fan in NS's topic in The Aud Club
Speaking of the age thing, that right there is why the movies can’t be in the same universe, even if they say it. First Class was in the 60s. Deadpool is present day, due to the pop culture references. That takes the never aging thing to a whole new level. Marvel is almost definitely going to go the route of multiverse with all this. It’s the only way to tie things in. -
Movies / TV Shows - I Have Watched / Plan To Watch

The timeline of those movies is so beyond screwed up. Deadpool can't possibly fit into any of it. That's why they keep it as a mostly independent entity. That's exactly what I think they'll stick with. They'll eventually somehow roll in some new X-Men into the MCU, but Deadpool will continue on as it's own separate thing. The absolutely hilarious thing about this new wave of X-Men movie is that each of them is supposed to take place a decade after the last. So now we're up to around a 30 year window where no one has aged even slightly. They could just create movies without any reference to the year, but no, they went out of their way to pin them to historical moments. -

I really wish they hadn't included the brief cameo in the second movie. Otherwise, there'd be nothing you could use to even say those movies are a shared universe. It should be interesting to see when Disney completely purges the X-Men universe but keeps Deadpool going. -

I realize it's very loosely tied in, but I don't think Deadpool should be included on that list. Those movies are as independent from the rest as possible. -

You're on the right track, but think bigger... think of the biggest villains in the entire sports world -

From what I hear, Buffalo fans should be very happy with the ending. -
It would be an incredibly weird look if they don't get it done after all these comments. It almost makes me wonder if they're just messing with people's heads at this point.

Someone needs to create an innuendo hall of fame. Whitesnake would be a first ballot inductee.

Why am I hearing a bunch of D-Day 75th anniversary stories today? It's truly amazing stuff, but it feels so much more appropriate to get the day right.

He sits on his source every day. Hint: I'm not talking about the chair. That said, I can't wait to hear what the latest one is.

Sullivan has been writing the same thing over and over for 30-some years. PA's only been doing that for about half that time.

That whole lighting thing wound up being an odd process. I took the light kit off the fan first and tried it on another fan. It worked, so the problem wasn't there. Then I took off the switch panel to take a look and nothing looked wrong there either. At that point, I called it a day because I didn't have enough light left to actually get into any of the wiring. I put everything back together and then the light was working normally again. I'm hoping it was just a loose connection on the light kit, because otherwise I don't have the slightest clue what it was.

I'm still sad to this day that Daffy Duck never won out in the end on the whole rabbit season/duck season debate. They reached out privately to them to tell the story. The whole thing is more funny to me than anything. They asked a while back when I put the fence up because they were having rabbit issues too and I told them I had put down some repellent. The wife is from Spain and it's her first time living outside of a city, so it's all a bit new to her. Once I finally bump into them, I'll let her know that it's nothing toxic.

Fixed that for you. I get a kick out of the rare cases when a guy comes back to a team so many times.

Sorry I phrased that wrong. I was picturing two possible scenarios. Either you (by that I meant you and the wife) did all the work along with a couple friends, or you had some contractor work for things like the roof. Anyway, the work looks amazing. I wish I had even half of the skills required for projects like that. I think I could make the landscaping happen. But the roof? Forget about it. We had an interesting one in our neighborhood this week. Thursday night one of our friends in the hood hit a rabbit as she was driving out at night, right next to our yard. It survived, but hopped off badly injured. She let us know just in case we found the unwelcome surprise in our yard the next morning. It wasn't there. Later the next day they shared with me a post in the neighborhood facebook page (I'm not a part of that page) from my next door neighbor about finding a dead rabbit on the driveway. The woman posting it went off about how her neighbors are poisoning rabbits and she's concerned about her daughter being outside. So apparently I'm thought of as a rabbit poisoner since I put up one of those little 2-3 foot wire fences around a new landscaping bed I put in last year. I'd have to imagine that poisoning rabbits would have to be illegal. That seems like it has animal cruelty written all over it.

@dudacek, did you actually do most of that on your own? I can't even imagine the work that would go into the change in roofline.

You know what's even worse? When you're in a gym lobby or the locker room and some kid is dribbling a basketball in there. The way it echoes through an enclosed area like that? That sound drives me mad.

That's a fun little story if you dig in a little deeper, classic he said she said. The best part is that ultimately, no one really cares.

When you still have to jump pretty much the entire league, I'm not so worried about potentially helping out a team that's 20 or so slots ahead of you. If it makes you better, do it.

That one is a panel with three different switches. So could it just be one of the three that fails? The others are definitely still working.

So a guy from New Mexico State blew up in that game last night? My brother went there 20-some years ago and I've never heard the school get any press whatsoever.
