What jeep? All I see is the awesome nature scenes.

But sometimes you wind up with tasty cookies if you open that door. That's another one that I absolutely love about this whole process. Some of the complainers are the same people who send their daughter around the hood selling girl scout cookies. Selling stuff is bad right until you have to do it yourself. The thing that really kills me though is that I can count on one hand the number of times someone has come to my door selling something over the course of the year. I'm annoyed by the flock of rabid mockingbirds that harass every house on a daily basis, but maybe they're doing some good as well.

I want to come across this scene in real life just once in my life.

But does Ken Holland? They've hit the reset button there and who knows what kind of deals they could make now. High profile GM changes always bring on strange unexpected events. Just look at the comparison of Edmonton Glen Sather to NYR Glen Sather.

I know it's risky since we're talking about cancer, but I can't help it... They have a good grasp of the big C? Paging inkman to the white courtesy phone.

My neighborhood has an unnatural hatred of door-to-door soliciting. I know it can be annoying, but there's nothing forcing you to stay out there and continue to listen to them. Each time one shows up, the whole neighborhood starts to post in the facebook page warning each other and then the same old fight starts up (or so the wife tells me, I abandoned facebook a while ago). Apparently yesterday something escalated to the point of both the resident (who is an a-hole) and the door-to-door guy both threatening to call the police on the other. The resident was physically threatening the guy and then bragged about it on the page. The wife showed me all of it and it was horrifically stupid. And all because a handful of people can't handle a simple two step process: 1. Say no 2. Close door Then there's the even easier process: 1. Don't open door It's not hard, people. You don't want to deal with something? Don't. Me personally? I like to mess with these door-to-door people, who are usually bug treatment companies. They show me a list of people who have signed up, so I go through a long response of "Who? The guy over there? Never heard of him. Wait, the guy on the corner? Don't know him..." My other favorite is when they ask who my current service is through (none of their damn business), I say that I can't remember the specific name. Then I say it's something like RANDOM NAME, and they immediately tell me how that company is lacking. Then I say "wait, no it's OTHER NAME". They then come up with a new reason to trash that company. I like to see how many fake reasons they can create. Then in mid-conversation, just randomly close the door.

I think we'll find out relatively soon whether or not he would make that request of the Finnish team. I don't expect him to make the roster out of training camp. And hopefully he does make that request because he could be a great example of one of those mid-season callups who really helps the team after getting that AHL time under his belt.

Sabres Trade Alex Nylander to Chicago for D Man Henri Jokiharju

I think you may stumbled upon a major conspiracy right now. Have you ever actually seen both of them in the same room at the same time? -

Maybe it's the thread starter taking his ball and going home in truly confusing fashion? -
We overvalue our own. It's universal across all fanbases. Just look at the difference between what Chicago fans thought they could get for Jokiharju and what they actually got. The kid may very well have an NHL future, but it will be a near miracle if he steps up in a big way this year. My main concern with him is the NHL or bust status he's got. If you're going to commit to the NHL team, commit yourself fully to their system (granted there may be contractual obligations). That type of setup really makes me wonder whether or not the guy truly wants to be here.

Isn't it a bit redundant to have both the club and then also this thread? I'm not trying to be a Richard here, but I'm not really sure what is the real goal of having all the clubs. I like the idea of having a stand alone source for all of this, but isn't it supposed to do just that, stand alone? -
Given what Labanc signed for, it does make you wonder how far the Sharks were willing to go. Teams could have easily tripled that offer without it even approaching bank breaking status. I'm the biggest preacher of how the player has to actually want to sign an offer sheet, but you'd have to think he'd at least listen if that much more was offered to him.

I saw where you were going. But then again, I have two different t-shirts about sarcasm. -
I walk by the VA hospital out here occasionally. They always have some sort of truck/trailer parked on the side for the “Durham VA Department of Emergency Response”. They do in fact use the abbreviation D VADER @DarthEbriate

Were you talking to the mirror again?

Are you asking if he thinks Kim Pegula made the trade? -
I just want random tv interviews where he shows up in the background.

Synonym wasn't the right word since rip and torn are more of a cause and effect. Awesome gif aside, Shooter McGavin does not fit what I was going for. And since I said actor, Christopher and McDonald don't fit either.?
-
I want more actors with synonym names.

What would they be looking to move? i feel like if he was going to be spun to Florida it would have happened already. Those type of deals always seem to happen within an hour of each other. -
There’s a first for everything. But seriously, it’s completely ok for people to disagree with you. It would be boring as hell if everyone thought the same way. Disagreement is not an attack. I married the only other person I know who takes criticism so poorly. So you may want to keep your distance from me.

Thanks for the Finland info. I'm too lazy to dig too deeply into google so I didn't see why he had so few games played last year after starting the year in Chicago. -

I might be going way out into the deep end here, but part of me wonders if they could add a goalie. I'm not so crazy about what they currently have. -

Do the conditions of the Hunwick trade about not being able to waive/trade him carry over to this year? It's pretty clear that he's not an NHL guy at this point, but that could still get in the way if they do carry over. -

So his game log has him sent down to the minors after January last year. Was it demotion, injury, or for the AHL playoffs?
