My Eichel shipped yesterday. It will go well with the blue Grier jersey I already have. I suppose I'll have to get my hands on a Drury goathead at some point to build on the BU collection.

How are we supposed to argue? We have no idea what you have and haven't seen.?

All these QB injuries so far, including Drew Brees which in what was basically the equivalent of a high five gone wrong. If there was ever a time for satan to finally call in his debt on Tom Brady, this is it.

I was really starting to think that this was the year where Pittsburgh would land their next franchise QB just like the got the last one. They fall apart for one year, get an early pick and then Ben falls into their lap. So much for that thought.

Really quickly my mind goes to Jordan Staal, but I don't really remember the specifics there. But yeah, we're not going to be stringing together a very long list here.

It's always fun when we get these agent leaked stories. Let's make the player look as good as possible without actually saying anything of substance. I'm not really sure what they gain from saying this now as opposed to back when he was still unsigned. But hey, what's a good attention ***** without a few "hey look at me" comments.

I wish these sources were a bit more clear on the actual definition of an offer sheet. Correct me if I'm wrong on this one taro, but being presented an offer sheet should mean that they put an actual contract in front of him. So does this mean that he negotiated a bit with these teams a bit and then they presented that actual contract? I think that's the real information that people would be curious about, did he actually negotiate with teams or did they just throw out a random unsolicited offer.

Just imagine the mess that inevitable day when they do take down a bear in your backyard.

@ubkev, with all those murders, are you sure that they're dogs? It sounds like you own two cats.

I didn't realize that not opting out was just them punting it back one year. I guess I never thought about it before. Either way, if the player don't opt out either, I'll take it as a sign that both sides are much closer to being on the same page than in previous years. They're at least in the same chapter this time. I don't think anyone implied anything different. Still, I don't see any reason to assume one or the other, temporary or long-term.

Voorhees?

Career backup

I just assumed that was him on the still shot in the twitter post.
-
His look has really changed since he retired.
-
The ellipses leave a lot of wiggle room for what he was actually saying.

I wonder what the purpose of year 3 is, lockout protection?
-
Mine dies a back in the spring and it wasn't yet even 4 years old. I'd love to get 17 years out of the new one.

This isn't the kind of trading I was expecting to see here.

The key word there is "possibly". If the team can't/won't go there, you need to realize that at some point. And it goes beyond Toronto. I'm not so sure anyone would go there.

I missed the date stamp on that second picture. I also missed the Buffalo connection. That was an odd one. But still, based on every single picture I've ever seen of his car, I can only assume that he only drives it to McDonalds and he always takes up two parking spaces. Lock the man up, he's a monster.
-
Two questions immediately come to mind: 1. "Sorry I just hitted your car...". Was he hit by a 5 year old? 2. Was it a revenge hit for parking directly over the white line? Those 5 year olds are rough when they can't get their happy meal.

He’ll never make it to the field this year. Hell, he committed a crime just a few days ago with the taped phone conversation. Now with this accusation out there, NE will walk away. It’s not worth the hassle.

You say it's more about matchups, but I say that picking Miami's opponent every single week is more about one team than it is the matchup.?
-
But what if they want 2 years and he wants 4? There's always complications to these things.
