That one's fitting since it's a one time thing. I'm thinking about someone who may have thrown an A on the 50th anniversary jersey and now that guy no longer has an A. I'm not really sure why someone would have done that, maybe a collector or something, but it sucks for that guy. It's not really a big deal, but just a scenario that popped into my mind for no reason whatsoever.

This has me a bit curious. I like to buy jerseys with the C on them. Do they ever put the A on the jerseys they sell?

Ahhh, I misread the situation. Kuemper's new deal hadn't been added to the payroll I was looking at. The deal doesn't kick in until next year, so it really doesn't matter as of today. But next year when they're both making 4+? My guess is that one of them gets moved prior to that.

The money suggests that the starter and backup designations are reversed. Interesting. It'll be worth keeping an eye on that to see if it changes.
