According to doctor google, the longest recorded survival post-heart transplant is 32.9 years. That’s a bit of a shocking number when you realize we’re talking about a 20-something year old. However you want to define quality of life, this poor girl has just taken a huge hit to her life expectancy.

Along the note of all of this, I just saw on TSN that an ECHL team just signed the guy who kicked Adam Johnson during a game a couple years ago. That was the one where his skate cut Johnson's neck and he died. It's only the ECHL, but I bet that team is going to face a ***** storm.

I do think that a lot of that comes down to it being a division game on a thursday. Next week’s opponent is even further down, but with those extra 3 days, it’ll probably look more like what we expect.

It is kind of strange to watch the peaks and valleys for this defense. Hell, last week Justin fields was the 4th leading passer in the game.

They're probably good for the "is your computer plugged in" wave of questions, or at least saving a human from having to deal with that one. I just wish they didn't give it a human name and try to pretend it's a real person.

I ordered some stuff from them recently. It ships through some random company I’ve never heard of. The timing wasn’t the quickest, but I’ve seen worse. I ordered an outdoor storage bin off of amazon. It took about a week to get here, which is fine, but one part was missing inside the box (there were two back walls instead of one front/one back). I had to wait 4 days to sort that out with their customer service because they use real people 4 days a week and an AI chatbot the others. That chat box was horrible so I had to wait for the real people. Now it’s another 7-10 business days to get that right part shipped. This is a million times more annoying than the bills store oddities.

I didn’t read deep enough to see anything beyond the full roster from the first post. That would be the perfect spot for them to include it, right at the start.

I wish they'd include contract status on those rosters (draftee vs. AHL vs. NHL). It would help a bit while I'm playing the "who is that guy" game.

I was asking myself the age question too while reading that. And that goes for both players. In my mind I was thinking that surely Byram is two plus years older, but Google informs me that there’s only a year and a half difference. He’s still developing too.

We've done that for ages and then submitted the videos to Bob Saget, granted there were far less cameras around. But now we track them down and determine every single thing right down to their blood type. It's probably best to avoid public gatherings at this point, heaven forbid someone takes a picture and catches you mid-blink so it looks like you're sleeping during the national anthem. She probably is a miserable human being, but I don't care.

I wonder how much games like this really mean to the guys who have been in the system for a while. Those 4th line guys mentioned earlier are playing to catch attention. These “vets” have eyes set on a completely different finish line. Some might want to use that to question heart, but I can’t get to that point. These games are so small in the big picture.

The story is ancient at this point. But anyway, she’s a complete moron, but like you said, she shouldn’t have been subjected to the online Spanish Inquisition. Every single video these days, there’s this quick rush to figure out who the person is so we can shame them. Yet another example of why I hate the internet.
