It certainly helps that the team has averaged 5 goals a game over that period. The one loss was, no surprise, was their worst scoring output (1 goal). He damn well better have at least 3 wins with that kind of support.

It just goes to show you how different the two leagues are. Thompson started his professional career about a year and a half before Allen, but he’s right around a year and a half younger than Allen. I’m too lazy to pinpoint exact dates, but it seems like those big breakthroughs happened at right around the same age.

One person would be more missed than the other. I’m not naming names. 😀

When I find this person who is making bets on how a team will be doing after 29 games, I will immediately wish him/her well with the future bankruptcy.

It’s very easy to figure out why they’re so far back just by looking at their schedule and results. Locate a loss on that schedule and then look at the games immediately before and after that loss. You’ll find another loss. There are only two cases so far this season where one loss did not turn into a losing streak. If you want to be a playoff team, learn how to respond after a loss and don’t turn it into a downward spiral.

A few years ago I received an email with court documents intended for a Sarah Rader in Pennsylvania. I responded to the court clerk that she had the wrong email address. She thanked me and we were done. I'm assuming Sarah has the middle initial H. Anyway, fast forward to last week and I get an email quote for some electrical work for Sarah. Again, it looked fairly important, so I responded to let them know they have the wrong email address. They respond by sending me the quote for a second time. Today I'm up to 3 emails with this same quote. I've googled the electrician and it looks to be a very reputable company in PA. They pretty clearly don't care all that much about that woman's business since they keep sending out to the same address over and over even after being told it's incorrect.

Looking back on the ignore list is a fun time. There was a guy years ago who managed to make it onto my list 3 separate times before getting banned each time. Idiot would always use his actual face as his avatar, so it was blatantly obvious that it was the same person.

I watched the announcing and the slow build up reminded me of Andrew Peters circling his opponent for an hour, another choreographed dance session.

Why not, it’s exactly what fighting turned into in the NHL right towards the end until it disappeared.

Does he have any suspension history? I have a hard time seeing that as worse than someone with a couple suspensions under his belt getting 2 games for trying to poke a goalie’s eye out.

The quote feature works so much better now though. You get that compressed view of the quote and have to expand to see the whole thing… or at least that’s how it is on a phone. Gone are the days where the quoted videos and pictures made it impossible to load a thread.

Probably over half of the posts on this board get filtered out for me. It’s incredible.

I’m glad they actually called the instigator. That needs to happen when you attack a guy after a perfect clean check.
