I think it was last night. He had one where he fumbled the puck for a second and then all of a sudden it was on the net. So in the time it would take most players just to recover control of the puck, he had already shot it.

They should base the draft order off of the mid-season standings when the draft actually occurs, just to see if anyone would notice. I realize they have to hold it when they do, but the timing of that draft has always felt so crazy to me.

Divide both goals and blocks by the number of shots attempted and maybe you'll start to see something. This one in its current form is pretty much useless. We're pretty much just seeing a straight vertical line up the middle at the average number of blocks per game. Personally, I'm amazed at how little variation there is in blocks from team to team. It's tough to make a "block more shots" argument when pretty much everyone is blocking the same number.

If the official term isn't a ***** storm of canada geese, these labels are meaningless to me.
