16 goals for the league minimum is one of the biggest bargains in the league? How about 42 goals for right around double that?

There is a limit on call ups though. You may need IR in order it to be an emergency call up. But yeah, the goalie roster spot shuffle is definitely done at this point.

After all the USA hockey stuff they did wind up as bitter rivals for a year at BU/BC. I wonder if those fans have finally gotten to the point where they understand that so many of the players are friends now.

I think that’s definitely where pro sports are headed in the US at least, where attendance doesn’t really matter all that much. And as for the tv deals, I’m assuming additional teams up there doesn’t change that much or else they’d have done it by now. And with that almighty tv dollar, we’re definitely headed into the great unknown with everything switching to streaming.

If they actually did it, they are clearly only interested in immediate cash from the expansion fee. I would hope the union would fight it, but I forget if they were at all successful in getting a piece of those fees.

Yes he will. The rankings they use to seed the tournament are very public. If they lose early, they’ll know exactly where they sit and if it’s possible to move up at all depending on other games. As of today they are two spots back from getting in.

And Levi, of course. I think we talked about this before though. Capfriendly has them at 44 contracts, so you're number probably includes the signed guys in juniors like Savoie. I believe Bloom was one of them previously, so there's one less of those guys who could impact the roster count with late call up.
