The Butte Bombers? They really settled on that name? His left leg looks broken. They never mentioned slinky legs too.

I refuse to play any role in the inevitable head injuries from you on a skateboard.

The one thing I’m glad about was that it was me and not someone else. All too often stuff like this happens and then someone is posting a picture of the kid on the neighborhoods Facebook page asking who he is. I’m not in that page, but if I was, that’s something that would be completely off limits, no public shaming of kids. I figured this one out by asking a friend with a similarly aged kid, then the wife reached out to the parents privately. I think this kid had one previous incident on there, so I know the mother appreciated this approach. And before anyone asks, the wife is on that page, so she occasionally points out the idiocy of that Facebook group.

Report: “Another Disconnect” Between Botterill and Krueger
shrader replied to That Aud Smell's topic in The Aud Club
That’s some really odd reporting. This is another in a long line of miscues... I haven’t actually reported on any of them yet, they’re there. Maybe he’s right, but it’s really odd to read it that way. -
Did you pay for any travel to these games at all? You’ll find a very similar practice from the airlines, only giving the money back in vouchers. Sure, some may eventually fight it, but it’s a lot of effort with very little return.

Sabres “salary cap space is a mirage” per Yerdon in Athletic

Eh, it’s not all that much fun now that I know more. We have a road that leads into a new neighborhood under development. It has rod blocks up and is closed to traffic. Cars regularly pull up, move the signs, then drive through. I’ve been asking the cops about it a lot lately. Today they finally came out and marked those road blocks with police tape. The kid came out a few hours later and was about to cut the tape so he could skate board down that road. I told him to stop and that the cops just put it out because all of those cars are breaking the law and it needs to stop. The kid made up a ton of excuses and when it became clear I wasn’t going to leave until he did, he held the board over his head and moved towards me. I told him that was a very bad idea. Eventually I fake called the cops to scare him off, it was actually just my wife on the other line. But yeah, when we eventually figured out who the kid is, of course I find out he’s autistic. I don’t think at any point it ever got out of hand, but I’m not crazy about the whole thing. The parents are going to check out the intersection with him tomorrow, so I’m hoping they’ll follow through on the message that he shouldn’t be breaking police tape and a roadblock.

Today was a good day. A teenage kid threatened to hit me with his skateboard after I told him not to break police tape blocking off the street. I haven't had that much fun since this craziness started.

Movies / TV Shows - I Have Watched / Plan To Watch
shrader replied to Sabres Fan in NS's topic in The Aud Club
I had an uncle who looked just like the guy in the freezer (Carbone?). He died right around 20 years ago now (not in a freezer). Every single time I hear Layla, it makes me think of him. And the thing about that movie is that I've seen it so many times on cable, that it's an absolute treat when you stumble onto an unedited version. -
The big problem with rarely driving anywhere is that the birds are starting to use my car for target practice. It's those damn mockingbirds again. Those things are Richards, so I know they're doing it intentionally. The sure sign of that? One even managed to hit my wife's car which is parked in the garage.

And on another note. I met a new neighbor who moved in here about a month ago. We're randomly talking with a couple people while out for a walk and then I noticed the red standing buffalo on his backwards hat. He's from Rochester. So that quickly turned into draft talk.

And let's face it, we have two more years of Allen plus his option year. If for whatever reason that doesn't work, you now have Fromm with three years of development under his belt. It's a decent insurance policy, one that every NFL team needs to have.

Crap, my left knee’s been bugging me lately. I just assumed that since I had surgery on it a few years back and now this drop in physical activity has it acting up. But now you’ve got me worried. Fortunately I just bought some of that foaming bleach for cleaning the shower a couple days ago. I’ll give it a good soak and report back tomorrow.

Don’t get too attached to John... I played it back on it’s original release on PS2. You get used to it over time. You may want to look up some random guides online to get the most out of it.

People need that light at the end of the tunnel. Let's face it, number probably go up a little bit with these openings, but hopefully it's less of a spike and more of a speed bump.

Give it a few more months of lockdown and ny here will be up to a 745th username.

I want one single fan per section in the stands.

Right around the time that these checks were about to come out, I started getting bombed with scam phone calls, at least 3 per day. Thankfully that number's gone back down to zero now. I never answer them, but I'm sure that the timing was no coincidence. Sometimes I wonder how much better the world would be if these folks pointed that effort in a meaningful direction.

Did you really have to go and drag me into this trainwreck of a thread? We all gave up tons of stuff for lent this year.

Stacked protections... I now picture PA wearing three N95 masks and maybe a latex glove over his head. But just for laughs, he'll color that red so he looks like a rooster.

@New Scotland (NS), I saw a guy at the hardware store wearing a Mooseheads shirt. Those have to be pretty rare around here.

Some teenage kid getting a driving lesson just did a little accidental off-roading. It takes a lot of talent to run over a fire hydrant on the right side of the road with you front driver side tire. Thank god no one was on that sidewalk, which just happens to be the most walked area in the neighborhood.

Speculation: Small Market NHL Teams Could Fold, Sabres are one of them
shrader replied to Theana745's topic in The Aud Club
Won’t somebody please think of the children players!? -
I'm sure there's a few, but they're definitely in the minority. It's really simple though, when being told to wear masks by people who aren't wearing masks, the message becomes confusing.

They have the cure but they're keeping it for themselves.
