It must be nice too to be given a sign that the immunity system is functioning properly.

Serenity now!

A couple weeks ago there was some word going around about one of the young girls in the neighborhood having covid. As it turns out, they were scamming people. This guy is a real winner. I've always referred to him as white trash and he's taken it to a new level. The stories around this family (well, two families if you count the home wrecker incident) are so messed up.
-
I thought it was already out, but maybe that was just the list of home and road opponents. See, these are the problems you run into when you no longer have any clue what day it is. It might be friday or tuesday, may or march, the 18th or the 75th... I don't have any clue anymore.

I'm a few too many beers in to figure it out myself, but how different is this from the original schedule?
-
But that hasn't happened. Hell, we don't even know if it would have if things were different. I'm not going to focus on changing past actions. Hospitals have not been overrun in most places, many hospitals have seen sharp drops in their typical areas of care, particularly cardiac units. We haven't suddenly become a heart-healthy society. Heart disease has always been the #1 cause of death and it's going to rear it's ugly head when this lack of care catches up with people.
-
And then there's the people who have died during this for other reasons since they don't want to seek medical attention. That may very well be the biggest concern from all of this longterm. People aren't seeking out care when they otherwise would and that's going to cause a lot of issues down the road.

I refuse to reference anything but the originals. -
We have a mail kiosk for the entire neighborhood. I always walk to it anyway, so on my walk home, I'll take any misplaced mail to the right house. ...Well, except mail intended for one specific house. Those people have been so incredibly rude any time I've brought them mail (and it's a lot). That stuff gets the old return to sender. A richard move? Probably, but they've earned it. My story above, I guess it really isn't a laziness thing, just pure stupidity. I've seen a few of those ones where there's no name on it so they have no idea who it belongs to or where to take it. There's an address on the box/envelope! I may have to explore this a bit once work dies down a bit.

Those early round picks haven’t been getting moved around in the lead up to the draft in exchange for players in recent years. The first round picks moved for players, those all happen in season. Other than the obvious exception of the Vegas expansion draft deals, there hasn’t even been a handful of players moved for early picks over the last 3-4 drafts (too lazy to go back further) in the days leading up to the draft. The lack of a lottery is not going to have any impact on the trade market this time around.

The wife really needs to stop showing me the idiocy on our neighborhood Facebook page. The latest one (names are changed to protect the innocent morons) ”204 Street ave, we are at 402 Street ave and a package was delivered here by mistake and there’s no name on it” I’d light up that moron if I was on that page. If only each of the houses had numbers on the front telling you which house was which. Just walk the damn thing down the street and stop being so damn lazy.

There should at least be some level of educations about the masks. I can't count the number of times I've seen a news reporter out at a remote location doing their report with the mask pulled down below their chin. One night, they actually did a story on proper mask wearing, then immediately cut away to the reporter with the mask pulled down. This is where the majority of people are getting their information. I hate that they have as much power as they do, but since they do in fact have it, they could be doing so much more good by mandating that their reporters either take the mask completely off while on the air or leave it over their mouth. Now maybe I just happen to watch the only station where the reporters do this. I'm guessing that's not the case, but I'll acknowledge the possibility.

My mind always flocks to the originals, so that is not the quote I was thinking of. Right character, wrong movie. A longer rant has now come to mind, but I'll save it for a PM and not derail this thread. -
An event that they can televise and generate some revenue.

I can’t focus on the single digit possibility. Oh wait, this is probably a topic for the covid thread

I’m not going to dig up the numbers but they typically have a pretty good chance of losing ground after the lottery. This may actually lessen that.

This reminds me of when we first met one of our good friends in the neighborhood. I mentioned the year I was born and then she realized that she graduated from high school that year. You may or may not have been a sophomore that year.

Is it on the internet? Then yes, you should be scared of it.

I'm a statistician and analytics have no changed a thing about my game viewing habits one bit. And that's exactly how it should be. Each of those numbers, they're not something you can see out there on the ice. The stuff you can see, none of that is the least bit advanced. Coincidentally, those are the so called advanced analytics that they spotlight during a Sabre broadcast. They're about as advanced as a hammer. I've never payed one bit of attention to any of the analytics in hockey, even though I have that base of knowledge. Hockey is entertainment for me and I'm not going to let work creep into that world. So it hasn't changed my viewing at all and it really shouldn't for anyone else either. What is has changed is those conversations after the games. That dam has burst and it's never going back up. -
I want to see a pissed off goalie make a run at the art ross and rocket richard trophies just to stick it to the people who think that way. The latter would take some true dedication.

Sabres “salary cap space is a mirage” per Yerdon in Athletic

Keep in mind that the guy who put Skinner on Eichel’s wing is not the same guy who put him with Johansson and co. -
Being an SOB is a symptom too? Add every single poster on this board to the list.

There's also going to be a slight lag between the confirmed cases and the death count. Those who test positive today who are going to die, they're not going to die until X number of days later. So your confirmed case curve and your death curve should run mostly parallel, but the death curve will be shifted slightly to the right (towards future dates).

And even if you do successfully leave that TP trail, you wind up using all of it anyway. So not only do you not have enough TP, you're also now lost.
