  1. This thread is totally going to hit "Stafford needs to go" thread levels as we all bitch and moan all next year about DD
  2. but it took someling like 5 years and 100+ pages. I dont want to wait that long...
  3. I'm going to go out on a limb that the censored word isn't "Love".
  4. I don't know why, but knowing what you guys look like makes it even harder to picture you taking a lazy spring Sunday gardening. It's probably just because most of our time was spent eating/boozing/yelling at Leafs fans.
  5. As shittily as this season has been, and ended on a bad note, you just know we're going to convince ourselves to watch again next year. We will all find some stupid reason to have hope for improvement despite the odds. We can't quit. :death:
  6. That's not good. It's decidedly... whats the word... BAD. Apparently all is hunky-dory in Pegula land. No cause for concern from Terry.
  7. This thread has just gotten worse and worse as I continued to read.
  8. You would have to keep your voice down. So no.
  9. And boom goes the dynamite. this is what I want to hear. Angry Eichel.
  10. Similar to why I never thought Vanek could be a good captain. Far to expressive with negative body language while playing.
  11. Is that anything like Brian Koziol from WGR? (Only reason I know his name is he used to be my HS math teacher)
  12. On the bright side, all this practice should allow us to minimize that slice and shave a few strokes off the handicap. Amirite?
  13. Unknown injuries are always far more terrifying than broken bones or torn ligaments. Hopefully they are able to get a diagnosis and get KO healthy.
  14. Isn't this the same thing we were all complaining about in the past when it looked like the team decisions were based more on what Russ Brandon and the marketing team wanted than what was best for the team/franchise? Who gives a flying f### what the perception is - make the decision that has the highest probability of success for the team in terms of wins/losses. Go RoR - make it known this shite is unacceptable. (Then go play 25 minutes a night) :nana:
  15. Sadly I have a contractor working on remodeling my living room, and when moving all the furniture into the dining room, I made the unfortunate decision to pile all the furniture in front of the liquor cabinet. :( Spring porch drinking can't come soon enough...
  16. Exactly. WNY is filled with "Yankees" and "Red Sox" fans that have 1. Never even been to Boston/NYC to see a game 2. Only want to proclaim their fandom when winning/in the playoffs. Why should I root for a team that is 6+ hours away when the Jays are a short ride up the QEW and closely resemble the type of team Buffalonians can get behind - an underdog team that hasn't won anything in a long time, and until recently had a long standing playoff drought. They fit right in  Plus being a Jays fan gives the added benefit of being able to root against the Yanks and Sawks with a fiery unrelenting passion.
  17. Hey guys did I miss anything? No? Sounds like it was a wise move to decide last night was for watching baseball and NCAA championships and not hockey. :bag:
  18. And just as moist.
  19. This was my thinking, although maybe replace the NYI win with two OT losses or a different win. Just beat Toronto
  20. I am amazed how far Profar has seemingly fallen in terms of perception around baseball. A few years ago he was the no doubt #1 prospect in baseball. A few injuries in his 2013/2014 seasons has dropped him to an afterthought. I would look for him to become an everyday player this year and beyond if he can ever get past his shoulder issues. It's a shame how injuries can derail even the most promising career.
  21. As long as you don't expect him to hit 33 bombs again this year.
  22. Knowing DD I can almost guarantee you will not see that tonight. Nylander will probably be 4th line center. Beat the leafs. After tonight, the Sabres can do whatever for the rest of the year. I have as much apathy as one can for a guy who spends time on a Sabres specific message board every day and meets strangers from the internet in a seedy back room at a bar. :bag:
  23. Did you go to the Rougned Odor Seminar for Conflict ManagementTM in the offseason?
  24. Well at least there is this little side story to distract the masses over the last few games of the year. I still want to beat Toronto to ruin their playoff chances, but other than that the apathy is strong in this one.
  25. I too hope this :) Opening Day!!! Go Jays! We can't be friends if you're a Yankees fan Kev, sorry to break it to you. :nana:
