I'll look for you in the police blotter. It's going to happen at some point.

It has very little correlation to actual golfing skill, so it's really tough for me to lose in mini golf to a teenager who bounces it off the wall 6 times. I'm not bitter.

You know it. My SIL's boyfriend works there. Buy one round get one for a $1!

You'd be surprised how well a bunch of high single digit/low teens handicappers can do in a scramble. 59 is pretty great, but I recall me and another guy carried our team to a -5 finish in another scramble. We got 2nd place after missing the birdie putt on the 18th hole  You'd be surprised how well a bunch of high single digit/low teens handicappers can do in a scramble. 59 is pretty great, but I recall me and another guy carried our team to a -5 finish in another scramble. the gauntlet has been thrown down.

As someone who last week helped my father move from his large 5 bedroom house to a downsized 2 bedroom cottage on Lake Ontario, I can say that you don't need 90% of the stuff you have. After two full 30' U-Haul trucks, I was ready to light the rest on fire  His new house is so full with boxes that it looks like a hoarder house from that A&E show...

Don't call it a comeback...

It's amazing what a competent sounding press conference can do for morale. Just answering questions professionally and sounding like he knows what the is going on has me just a little bit excited about the Bills next year. Just a little.

Feel free to shamelessly plug your stuff here. You know we'll be buying (unless it sucks, in which case... )

the one we did wanted us to paint the water bright orange. The sky is yellow and the water is orange. It didn't make any sense to me but I wasn't about to go off script...
-
Like when couples go to those "paint night" events at local bars. The artistic one's painting turns out "good" and their significant other's effort is... "less good". :bag:

I'd let D4rk paint 3 sides of my house if that means I can convince Josie to paint some sweet mural on the front of the house. Whatever D4rk up I can just repaint. :nana:

Expansion Draft -- Sabres moves and speculation
Samson's Flow replied to SabresBaltimore's topic in The Aud Club
No worries man. I was more trying to drive discussion on an oddball topic than make you do non-sensical hockey analysis in the offseason. Enjoy the summer while you can before grad school starts up! -
Expansion Draft -- Sabres moves and speculation

I know some folks around here have used hyperbole and said Des is the worst forward in the league, but can he possibly be better than someone else, especially one on a playoff roster? -

Sidenote: is Deslauriers a worse hockey player than Chris Neal? -
Jack Eichel's new contract; what's he worth?
Samson's Flow replied to LGR4GM's topic in The Aud Club
Which reminds me - we should have taken the four 1sts for Vanek when we had the chance. -
Unfortunately paying an unmotivated employee doesn't suddenly make them care. It doesn't work like that. What you get paid is totally separate from how many you give. You either care or you don't.

If that's all it takes i'll take a deucer in my pants right now :bag:

Jack Eichel's new contract; what's he worth?
Samson's Flow replied to LGR4GM's topic in The Aud Club
Is there any sort of market suppression on first contracts off of the ELC? I feel like all the high $ contracts come from UFA players when they hit the free agency market and 30 teams can all bid for their services. RFA's aren't that crazy since they are still (mostly) under team control. That's why we were comparing to Gudreaux and Ekblad. EDIT: Typed fast and wasn't even close on Gaudreau's name -
But that was in 93, and I was like 5. Are you also going to tell me that because I saw the Bills in the Super Bowl when I was still sh!tting my pants that i'm good for my life? ubkev was my seat mate at the meet up, so he knows exactly how dashingly handsome I am...

He was one of the most emotionally involved when he got big minutes during the tank year under Nolan. I said before, I think you need to engage Bogo emotionally rather than tactically, and he responds better when he doesn't have a lot of system/direction and can play instinctively. I don't think he is a culture/desire issue at all, he was just so stuck in his head that he was ineffective.

The 2nd Annual Great SS Meetup! Saturday March 10th, 1pm
Samson's Flow replied to WildCard's topic in The Aud Club
If we get most of the group that came this year in addition to the interest this has already been generating, this may become too large of a group to manage seats near each other/fill up Gabriel's Gate. I think it's smart to start gauging interest to see what kind of meet up we need to schedule here. -

Although one of them was a huige baby at birth (10lbs 11oz), so that may screw up the test. Big babies probably take longer to cook. Like chicken or something. -

Two fo my family members just had babies less than a week apart. If you guys want I can test it out on one of them and have one be the control baby who sits outside the microwave. That way it can be all official sciency. Thoughts? -
It's still quite a big hole, and to even make the playoffs they need to win at a 92/93 win pace, which is what was projected of the MLB best teams. The pitching is there, but Bautista looks done and with Donaldson on the DL it still looks like an unsustainable blip if you ask me. I just can't have nice sports things apparently
