I don't know man, I always have a great time at weddings with my wife. I'll admit that the odds of getting some strange decrease dramatically, but there's an open bar and a dance floor at every one, so can't complain :flirt:
I still think there are going to be more moves coming in FA or trades. We have seen the type of player that JBott and Housley are looking for in the draft, and I think we continue to shape the team toward speed and attacking/active defense. Similar to the annual Bills coaching change there will be a lot of roster turnover as the new staff brings in "their guys".
For as long as I can remember the Sabres had strong goaltending, or at least above average relative to the league. I think some of us are taking for granted how demoralizing it is to have a good team with a bad goalie. You think Miller's WTF Wave/soft goals were bad...
I give the slight edge to Bogo, just because I remember how effective he was when we first acquired him. I have blind faith that Housley can resurrect that with better coaching. But I do think we will see a motivated and improved Girgs as well.
My best "official" photo ever was for my ID Badge at work. Somehow the stars aligned that day and it turned out really well - especially for a one time picture taken by a random security guard.
My drivers license and passport on the other hand... :bag:
I gave it a B. Every year the NHL draft is a crapshoot and if we get 2 NHL'ers from it that is a success IMO. I think there is a strong likelihood that Middelstadt plays in our top 6 by 2020, and between Davidson and the goalie one of them has a strong chance of making it. The off the radar defense picks seem like high risk, but also remind me a bit of the Red Wings 20 years ago when nobody knew about Yzerman and Federov.
Who the Sabres draft is of immense importance the night of the draft, after that people forget unless it's Jack Eichel. The average fan is all about what have you done for me lately?
