A lot of industry analysts aren't sure where this is going with Disney's desire to own the RSN's, since many of them are big liabilities since they have huge rights agreement contracts with various teams to carry the games, often with strict stipulations that they are only carried on the specific RSN and through pay cable (i.e. no internet broadcast). With the proliferation of cable cord cutting and de-bundling "sports packages" these networks are at risk to lose a lot of subscribers and only keep the hardcore fans. Then again, Disney's media CEO is lauded as a forward thinking, smart guy so maybe there is a different play here that we don't see...

Exactly. It's seemingly harmless, but replace "wear a christmas sweater" with "come paint my house" or "provide sexual favors" and you can see where the slippery slope is. Wearing holiday garb has nothing to do with your actual job.

I'm pretty sure you should legally be allowed to leave early if that offer was extended to your co-workers, otherwise they would be in a sticky situation of quid-pro quo favoritism. I mean who's to say your current work outfit wasn't just a poor attempt at a christmas sweater?

Honestly never been, so maybe it will be a $hitshow. What do I know... North Park also has early release showings on Thursday at 7 and 10pm so maybe that will attract the crazies

Friday night at 7pm at the North Park Theater. Since it's a single screen theater won't be nearly as packed as the mega theaters.

Wilson and ERod are only the best in that cart because they have a sample size of less than 5 games. I would ignore any of the new guys until they get enough games to normalize. They have been relatively good comparatively.

We don't have the same common law marriage laws as they do in Canada. You have to actually go through with it to get the legal benefits here.

The only thought is they are trying to make a point to indicate how little they care. In other words, bragging to the guys at the bar "I'm done with the Bills, so much that I sold my ticket for $4. IDGAF anymore"

These light hearted name change efforts also seem to have the added benefit of bringing some of the less active posters out of the woodwork. :thumbsup:

I figured it out!! Changing my user name to the Swedish version helped identify my password, then I just had to try the few options for my username and I got it.

So "Touched by Boyes" didn't translate at all, so I had to be a little creative. Rör av pojkar literally translates to "Touch by Boys", but I figured that works for the spirit of this little diddy.
