Unfortunately a lot of them seem to be lurkers who signed up but don't post much or old logins that aren't active anymore. The active user community is much smaller :( -
I've heard Fear of the Walking Dead is far closer to how the original Walking Dead was, with the zombies actually being a danger and main characters not being "invincible". The Walking Dead seems to have believed in its own hype and now has transformed into a soap opera/war storyline and the zombie element is an afterthought. When was the last time the walkers created a legitimate danger scenario? Twice in the last episode Rick and Michonne took on 30+ walkers without a second thought and survived without a scratch.

I think there just needs to be a clarification on when the goalie is "in the crease". The only clear definition in my mind is the goalie is considered in the crease when both skate blades/pads are in contact with the blue paint. If the goalie is in the crease, then they are afforded all the protections and cannot be interfered with, even incidentally, in their attempt to make a save or move. If the goalie is outside the crease, only actions deemed deliberate contact will result in the goal being disallowed. That interpretation would still allow the Larsson goal (which I think should be a goal) while removing much of the interpretation from the existing rule. The deliberate actions outside the crease should be easy enough to identify.

Just like the Patriots knew that Tom Brady was going to be a franchise altering player so they waited until the 6th round to take him. Just to rub it in our faces. (i'm agreeing with you) -
We decided very early on this year that we weren't buying any more tickets from our season ticket group. Not when the secondary market is $6/ticket

Don't worry, we just traded our best healthy winger to get O'Regan who is almost a point per game AHL player. Same-sies right? -
I didn't even think bodies could be processed down into that smooth of a paste. Surely there would be bones and limbs sticking out?!

Scheduling oddity as this is the first matchup between the two teams this season, and we will have all 4 of our games with Toronto in the final month of the season. NHL be dumb yo. -
I never thought I would like King given the genre, as I don't generally like horror movies, but I'm willing to give another one a go. Is there a recommendation for the next one to try or does it not matter?

Finally finished 'It' a few weeks back. It was definitely worth the effort despite the page count. Really enjoyed it even if it was my first Steven King novel Now I'm moving on to the Miracle at Dunkirk. Novel about the early WW2 events around the German insurgence into France and the corresponding British retreat.

That saying only works because you only need to spend an hour with her max. With a drafted QB, you're stuck with that butter face for multiple years... and your buying them a new house... and all your friends have to deal with the consequences of your desperate decision. It's a bit different. That's the EJ Manuel pick in a nutshell. Buddy Nix was so desperate to draft a QB as part of his parting legacy that he convinced the team to take a bad one in a bad draft year.

This is all I am looking for. If that was your plan and you thought our picks were better used waiting for Rudolph because the talent gap wasn't as big as perceived, that's fine as long as you can convince me you weren't just taking the last girl at the bar when the lights come on.

I'll at least give you credit for pointing out more than just "Brady was a 6th rounder", and I recognize that good QBs can come from outside the top 5. Brees and Wilson dropped because of size concerns but were good QBs, and Rodgers was supposed to go top 5 but dropped over one team getting spooked. We can go back and forth bringing up examples on the merits of early picks v. waiting for a lottery ticket to hit, but I don't think that solves anything. More than anything, I want some conviction from the Buffalo Bills to indicate that they had a plan and executed it to get the guy they wanted. For far too many years we have let the market or other teams dictate what we did, and we were always left with everyone else's second (or worse) choices at the QB position.
-
See i'm of the exact opposite opinion. I am really hoping that the Bills just go for it and trade up to get Rosen, so that I can finally say my team went for a franchise QB instead of -footing around with retreads, second choices or the fourth choice rookie. Go for it, try for greatness instead of just okay-ness.

Yep it was all about MODO and our support for him during this crappy season and his equally crappy family issues. We still love MODO, but I wanted to go back to being able to read user names again

Next thing we know We've is going to eliminate the apostrophe. Like it or not I used my two changes in the last 90 days, so you get the first effort on this one. ...unless it was a tongue in cheek pun :P

I too feel that the Swedish invasion has run it's course. It was fun while it lasted. I am also using this opportunity to change my name (Touched by Boyes) to something a little more current. Given the state of sexual misconduct we have seen recently, I no longer feel like the play on words of my former user name is appropriate. So i'm giving a shout out to my favorite under-appreciated Sabre in Samson Reinhart.

 I thought you had mentioned you were looking more in the burbs before (and I see your post upthread now), but I thought that was relevant to your appraisal question, even if not specifically applicable to your situation.
