  1. I agree. There's McDermott's Keuchley linebacker
  2. Well at least Allen managed to kill the SS servers. Just like he killed my excitement for the bills
  3. Effin A cotton Effin A cotton
  4. Bills should trade here for 6
  5. How's that working out for them?
  6. Ward is shocking. I thought they could get him later if they traded back. Browns will be browns
  7. The only choice. Coming at #5 or #6 with a trade up
  8. I hope that's a celebratory beer and not a "oh god what have I been doing with my life?" beer. :nana:
  9. For me, the "It doesn't affect me" mindset is more from the sense that our military power is so superior to everyone else that there isn't really a realistic threat that this bombing/engagement/war will pose any risk to me or my community. Multiple decades ago a war or military effort would have serious loss of life on both sides, and that would make the stakes on the home front more meaningful and real, since you would need to change your lifestyle by not using certain products or temporarily making ammunition, or would see the loss of life impact in your community. As terrible as it is, our military strength means that most engagements have catastrophic death to our enemies and minimal losses on our side. It's a bad analogy, but it is like asking me to worry about whether the Harlem Globetrotters are going to lose against the Generals. I don't mean to be insensitive, but it is tough to be overly concerned when the odds are so stacked in your favor.
  10. Whatever you say Cusak from High Fidelity. :flirt:
  11. Westworld  If the first episode was any indication, they may have made the show even more confusing than Season 1 was. I love the show, but I felt like I needed the cliff notes after last night...
  12. No worries. Thanks! I'll send you a PM to flesh out the rest of the details
  13. Yeah. It's not even easily defensible. A quick google maps search says it is 36 minutes from the address to Halifax.
  14. That might be exactly my measurements (or close enough where it would be worth it). I might be interested in your offer if you still remember in June :)
  15. Let us know what you think. I'm intrigued both by the local shop aspect and the better quality than the crap I have gotten from Men's Warehouse. As a burgeoning finance professional, I needed suits but now I am seeing the difference in quality and am considering upgrading. As I don't need to wear suits daily for work, I'm not sure I can justify the price point that Eleven was talking to, but it needs to be better than the cheap ill-fitting stuff I settled for previously. I also have a unique fit (tall, long arms, narrow torso/waist) that could be much better served by a tailored experience.
  16. This is my expectation as well. Far fewer "OMG how did he escape that sack" first downs, offset by far fewer "he was wide open how did he miss him" or "screen pass to f##### Tolbert - again!?!" plays. In the end it will be more passing yards in a less spectacular way, and roughly the same productivity. I'd also say the Bills outperformed their record last year, and were a 7-9 true-talent team that managed to go 9-7 and make the playoffs.
  17. You do you. F### anyone that wants to confront you about it. That said, don't blame me if you end up getting shanked in Eastern Europe. :death:
  18. Yep, at a minimum you're losing an organ or two. I won't call you son though since we are roughly the same age. Taro can rock that verbiage cause he's bada$$.
  19. Who the what? Is this even worth my interest or is this just a camp body - i've never heard of him.
  20. I still pay for cable + internet through Verizon Fios, but also have both a chromecast and an amazon firetv on the primary television. I continue to grapple with the value of paying for cable and whether I could deal with only using chromecast/firetv and one of the "tv streaming" supplements like youtube.tv or hulu. For now, my reliance on watching MLB Network and the various regional sports networks, plus NBCSports and NFL Network in the winter seasons has outweighed the cost savings of cutting the cord. It would take a lot of re-training to go to the apps to get our content rather than the cable channels. Forgot to add - We have Netflix account, Amazon Prime currently, and pay for HBO and Showtime through Fios as well. If I were to cut the cord, I would at least supplement with HBO Now at a minimum.
  21. What in the sam hell happened in here the last few days? I admittedly ignored this thread because I too don't read Harrington and assumed that was the topic, then my work boredom brought me here and I find an epic battle with John Wawrow. I personally don't have a dog in this fight, but it seems like things... escalated quickly. General commentary - It seems our active poster count continues to shrink from my perspective, and we tend to hear the same voices more often than not. I don't know how to counter act that trend, other than hoping decent hockey in the future brings some new fans and voices.
  22. Premier league darts is especially weird because the crowd is a thousand people all drinking their off at random tables. They don't even want to watch darts sober
  23. I definitely care. Opening Day is one of my favorite sports days all year. It also is the unofficial start of spring/summer IMO. I'm with you Derrico. Other than Jack, Casey is the one player coming that will get me to watch the last handful of games just to see how he does. He was electric at the WJCs
