  1. I really think that if we paired ERod and Reinhart, those two would be able to lift Tage into an effective "finisher" role and make that line fairly effective. At this point I would rather have Tage on that line than Sobotka - he does nothing for me and should be the one sitting imo.
  2. I don't know how I'm gonna sleep. My heart is still racing an hour later
  3. Watching the post game - Hutton really did have some great saves to keep the Pens to 4.
  4. I thought for sure that eichel shot was a goal. Why wouldn't it be?
  5. The Sabres are going to win this one. Throwing the kitchen sink at them
  6. Thompson was on the Sobotka/Reinhart line for the Wild game as well. I too think that line would look so much better with ERod on it instead of Tage.
  7. That is a great read. Thanks for sharing. I have a few local places that I really like, and while I tell that to friends, part of the allure is that they are off the beaten path and a little quieter. Much like the article, I probably wouldn't like them nearly as much if they were mobbed all the time. I like that it feels like my "personal" spot.
  8. I'm as frustrated as the next guy, but I would echo a lot of what Fuhr mentioned here. The offensive ineptitude was kind of a snowball effect where the OL retirements/injurys really hurt the ability to rely on the running game, which exposed the WR's when they couldn't pick up the slack. At the beginning of the offseason there was a realistic opportunity to have a middling offense (#20-15 type rank) by playing a ball control & minimize mistakes strategy. That isn't sexy, but it would have been good enough for us to be competitive in every game. The sudden deterioration and/or loss of Incognito, Wood, McCoy and Benjamin really hurt the Bills, and I don't think they could have anticipated all of those happening in the same season. (Maybe McCoy's struggles as he hits the 30yr old wall + last years high carry count). The QB decisions were and continue to be an unmitigated disaster, but remember we were singing their praises in the offseason for not overpaying for Bradford, Keenum, etc. which appears to have been a good assessment. I'm not ready to fire everyone just yet...
  9. We got tickets through the "Verified Fan" program when the tickets first came out about a month ago. Going Wednesday before Thanksgiving - very excited!
  10. Before Foster's game last week, Thompson was our last 100 yd receiver.
  11. Toffoli was one of the names a lot of us were drooling about back when we were in the tank years and were talking trade with the Kings.
  12. He's the Phil Kessel of NFL WR's... ... minus the production, speed and talent.
  13. Don't get me wrong, my appreciation for Beaulieu does not prevent me from wanting to see Pilut after he has been lighting up the AHL. Nate just hasn't been the unmitigated disaster that he was last year, and that has been a pleasant surprise.
