the doctors have narrowed it down to somewhere on his torso... or arms. Hope that helps ?

I've seen the pictures. I think you give yourself too much credit. ? More seriously, if all we have are wingers who need elite centers to score (Sheary w/ Crosby, Okposo w/ Tavares) then we are screwed. Decent centers are hard to come by, let alone elite ones.

This is where we disagree my Nova Scotian friend. Sheary has been a fine scoring winger in his time with Pittsburgh, but suddenly he is hot garbage with us?

and which posters bring the content quality up when paired with another, and who devolves the content to politics and booze.

If Casey was showing anything I would be all for it, but I am getting more and more convinced that the 2nd line struggles has more to do with the wingers having to cover for/support Casey than a lack of talent on the wings. A lot of those struggling vets have consistently performed in the past, and I think we need to accept that our 20 year old center prospect needs more seasoning and isn't ready for 2C duties just yet. I think it is Grigorenko/Girgensons rushing prospects all over again.

I mean anything is better than the Carrion standings - never again!

Based on the practice report this morning, Housley did the exact opposite - Mitts centering the 4th line. I am more in favor of that v. throwing the kid to the first line.

Maybe this works as well, as I skipped the Bills game on Sunday to catch the Beauts game, and both ended up being strongly in Buffalo's favor (4-0 Beauts; Bills squish the fish convincingly). I was right that ERod gets his chance with the top line. I think he has looked good the last few games. Also looking for Tage to continue his strong play from the last few games. As he gets more opportunity he is playing with more confidence in the offensive zone.

The Sabres are like that disappointing child that you keep coming back to and expecting better even when they keep letting you down. I can't quit these guys and I remember the joy and enthusiasm that I had during the winning streak. I don't know what to expect from the team without Eichel tomorrow night. They looked like hot garbage without the captain - we will see what the practice lines from today look like as an indication. I'd like to see ERod centering the top line to give him a chance.

It's amazing how trading away one good center and one injury has taken our perception of center depth from "Solid" to "Who the ***** are these guys?!?"

Since we have been in such a funk, I am going to try my hand at starting the GDT thread in order to change our luck around. After dropping games to both the Blues and NY Islanders, this Panthers game becomes even more of a MUST WIN if we want to keep holding on to playoff positioning. Practice report lines from last practice - expect Eichel is out for a bit with an Upper Body Injury.
-
Finally! Hopefully he provides some scoring punch to help the middle 6 lines and keep us from being a 1 line team. Who do we think loses playing time as a result?

Win 4-0. Elia with a 4 pt afternoon (2 g 2 a)

3-0 Beauts after 2. After getting outshoot in the first, a much stronger period in the second. Family is having fun so far ?
-
1-0 Beauts after 1. Goal on a nifty deflection in front of the net

At least this is the first stop towards firing KO into the sun and off the roster

Housley Should Have Until End of December

There's a lot right in this post. Tough to keep perspective when we've been waiting for a competitive season for years -
Anyone going to today's game? I'm bringing the whole family and sitting center ice by the penalty box. Go Beauts!

I think we're all frustrated right now, but it's important to remember that successful organizations generally are fairly stable with coaching and management continuity. I just hate losing...
