  1. I have very low expectations for this game. While we have been struggling Tampa Bay has been winning 90% of thier games
  2. I agree that the Tage experiment was getting the first line caved in, but try another forward instead of going back to familiarity
  3. Erod went to the Alexei Zhitnik school of shooting.
  4. Well the experiment of breaking up the first line lasted all of 2 periods. Back to Jack Jeff Sam and a bunch of scrubs
  5. Give Dahlin a few years and that power play shot is a goal, not a goalie rebound assist to Skinner
  6. Through the first ten minutes you may be the better Carter.
  7. Let's go Buffalo! Crush these canes
  8. Anyone watch Escape at Dennemorra? After it won the Golden Globe we started it this week and have been watching two episodes a night since then - very good and interesting that it occurred in NYS (and we realized the week of my wedding!) Split was very good IMO, but we love psychological thrillers
  9. I haven't seen any results posted yet... come on its 2019 the people want to know!!!
  10. Yep. If I recall we discussed this before and had similar sizing issues for suits. Everything I buy at traditional stores are either 1. way too short in the arms but fit the torso or 2. super baggy in the torso with the right arm length - depending on what size I choose.
  11. and the roads were clear this morning before I could test out the Subaru ?
  12. Well since it has been demonstrated that young ladies marrying rich old dudes is a thing, us young guys can at least consider returning the favor. Considering he already has a girlfriend (who is a LA morning show/news anchor) I don't think your guess is far off.
  13. Yeah... $60+ BILLION can do a lot of good for you. Plus MacKenzie isn't exactly tough to look at.
  14. I'm actually more excited about Reinhart getting his own line than the TT news. SSS be damned but Samson had something like a 70+% CF in the Devils game with Sheary and Erod as his linemates. I think he can raise up his teammates more playing separate from Jack
  15. I think Murray does because he has already signed a deal with the Oakland A's in MLB. If he declares or is drafted (not sure which) he has to give back his signing bonus of ~$4M from the A's
  16. I love it when gut feelings I have are immediately backed up by LGR with statistical support. :)
  17. How soon we forget how effective Jason Pominville was doing exactly that. Recently Tage Thompson has been 100% better than September Pominville was.
  18. This is a very valid point. I recognize that it is far harder for a groundswell candidate to make it all the way to winning a party primary without at least some support from the major donors/special interests - which is a huge challenge and probably worth discussing. The last attempt was probably Bernie. I would argue that part of this phenomenon still comes back to not enough people are participating in the electoral process, which makes it easier for the 'power brokers' to impose their will and squash a popular candidate. These 'power brokers' do an admittedly great job of imposing their will early enough before the voter support gets too strong to overcome.
  19. Yeah apparently all I had to do was ask - sorry guys! (although northtowns where I am only got ~1 inch, but I told my wife it was at least 3 inches ? )
  20. The NFL v. MLB discussion is an interesting one. You can make a lot more money in the MLB as they have guaranteed contracts and a much higher pay scale, however it can take many years of toiling in the minors for basically minimum wage before making it to the show, if you make it at all. It's very possible that the $4.66M signing bonus is all Murray would make in baseball. But the risk of his body breaking down/quality of life after sports is greatly reduced. The NFL ensures he will get a better contract earlier if he is indeed a high pick in the draft, and if he proves to be even a decent NFL QB then his second contract could be good as well, but there is just as much chance of busting and not getting anything more than the first contract, and the non-guaranteed contracts mean a lot more uncertainty year to year. Not to mention the concussion/quality of life discussion, which may be mitigated a little by being a QB - who are protected by the rules more than say a O-linemen.
