Read through the whole thread this morning. Was exactly what I was expecting. Frustration is high right now

It was started by some college aged guys up in the 300's near my section. Alternated between "Fii-er Hous-ley" and "Hiii-re Quen-ville". It was localized to his section, but it was definitely there. ?

It was great to see you too buddy! Appreciate you taking the time to meet up and shoot the breeze. The game was entertaining for about a five minute stretch in the third, but other than that it was hot garbage. I stopped going to games because the product was more frustrating than entertaining, and this being my first of the year didn't do anything to change that dynamic.

Toffoli is a name we were all hot about ~3 years ago, but I don't know how well his prospect status has aged. That said, I wouldn't be too upset if that actually occurred. Kempe is still only 22 but isn't producing much in the NHL (13pts in 49 gp)

We could definitely use more competent NHL players. Plus Burakovsky is still pretty young so if he clicks with us he could be with us for more than just his contract years.

Reminds me of a discussion I had with an IT colleague the other day. We were talking about old technology and he had a doozy when he was working help desk - a customer was calling to try to understand why his PC wasn't reading the floppy disk once he inserted it. After a couple back and forths, it was discovered that the customer used scissors to transform his old 5" floppy disk to fit into the "newer" 3.5" slot in his PC. I know its the 1990's, but that's not how technology works buddy.

Yeah it is something I have grown into, as when I was a renter I was much worse at being diligent about the sidewalks. I know we all live in a car-centric culture, but it's important to remember that some people (including the elderly) rely on walking to the corner store/bus stop/etc. to live. It's not that much extra effort to shovel a clear path so they can get to where they need to go easier.

I tried rocks and sticks but they were even less effective...

I'm still rocking the shovel only, and most of the time it is fine but during big storms like this it takes me 1hr+ to shovel out my ~30ft one car width driveway. Then again i'm still young and dumb enough to think it's just good exercise. Shoveling the sidewalks on your property is a civic duty and something you should do every time. Only ***** don't shovel their sidewalks.

Agreed. The mittelstadt line has been very effective the last two days

The pace, checking and lack of calls reminds me of a playoff game. Will be interesting to see if the Sabres respond or crumble

This is excellent news! Did you get tickets as part of TW's ticket group? TW - what sections are your tickets in? If I can get seats closer to the group I will do that.

Most of the folks in my office have their managers come by and encourage/force them to leave early when the weather gets bad. I recognize that this is probably not the norm.

and our defense depth is better. We have 8 defenseman that probably deserve some time at the NHL level.
