Zachary M Bogosian... man, myth, or legend?
Samson's Flow replied to drnkirishone's topic in The Aud Club
That's basically what I'm looking for. The outlet pass portion of that is especially important. Very underrated how much that contributes to offense -

Given free tickets for tonight's battle of the NHLs best. It will be nice just to see some of the new players including my man crush Bogosian. With that said, no chance we win tonight -
um... what?

I can confirm that as a child I was forced to learn the recorder in elementary school music class. The combination of 30 eight year old kids playing a recorder will ruin any interest in music you may have had...

Would have been good to ask. Instead of knowing about his Jimmy Choos.

In other news, wouldn't Anna be proud of all of the Russian support around here? Well done comrades

23-man roster predictions for 2015-16 season

When did I say this? I've been wrongfully accused! -
In this crazy world I'm glad we can count on something.

Кто говорит о литовском? Вы знаете, я не говорю по-русски, по-английски, пожалуйста!

I definitely think that Grigorenko is more on the table than we think. With McEichel, Reinhart and Girgensens holding down the middle for the next few years, There doesn't seem to be a good landing spot for Grigorenko, especially since he is out of options. However, I also want to be sure we have our centers before trading them away, you can never have too many.

The willingness/expectation that any player can be traded is a huge departure from the old days. GMTM's trade possibilities are on a whole nother planet compared to the Darcy days.

I thought I just saw an article where a guy was arrested for using a home-made flamethrower to remove snow on his property. I'll see if I can find it. Yep. Fargo, ND http://neighborshame.com/fargo-man-arrested-clearing-snow-flamethrower/

E L I T E. that's how you spell Biega. ;)

Isn't this how they used to do it in soccer matches? Time of possession has been a metric for strong play for that sport for as long as I can remember.

Sounds more like the Russian naming fever that seems to have hit SS lately. then again, this team has a habit of making back-up goalies look like all stars.

Aww shucks  Seriously, we would need the Sabres to play way above thier season average AND Edmonton to play way below thier season average to make losing the shart a concern. To take it a step further, in TrueBlue's scenario above, if the Sabres go .500 (Deluca .500 or traditional .500 be damned) and go 12-12 the rest of the year, that is 24 more CHL points, or 102 points for the year. Edmonton would need 29 points in their remaining 23 games, which equates to 8-14-1, which is increasing thier losing percentage from 54% on the season to 60% for the remaining 23 games. And even then they would barely beat us out. Also, the Sabres aren't going .500 the rest of the year. They are terrible in every metric. We need Liger to post Aaron Rodgers "RELAX" clip.

That's not really a streak now is it? As much fun as last night was, there is a strong chance that the Sabres come out flat and tired from last night's high energy emotional matchup.

This is a fantastic point that I didn't even think about until now. GMTM can make this team really good next year and they will still have a strong chance of having a high pick. The timing of our suckitude and the corresponding "go for it" year that I think is coming next year seems like perfect timing. Do we still get this benefit (eligible for next year's lottery) if we make the playoffs next year?

Maybe I just have a bigger comfort with the relative talent gap between the Sabres and Edmonton. Discrepancies like that tend to work themselves out over a large sample size. That coupled with the variability of sports make me not concerned when the Sabres win ("lose") the occasional game. Would anyone be disappointed with a 5-20 record the rest of the year? That gets us to 118 points in the CHL. Edmonton would have to go 0-23 to get to thier maximum 120 CHL points. Those five wins in my scenario have to come from somewhere, so beating Philly last night is as good of a time as any to fill one of the wins noted above.

We're up 4 with a game in hand. Relax. It's not like we beat the 1st place team. The Flyers suck too

Heck, I enjoyed watching them tonight. Who would have thought that was possible?

They even tried to distract us with wild birds. Didn't work. F###ers.
