    As I stated in the other "what would you do?" thread, there's still plenty of games for Hackett to start, and I am hoping that the timing of his gams coincides with the first Coyotes game. Or we could just not care about hackett.

    I think the argument is that one currently costs us peanuts, whereas the other is expcted to cost $7MM+ per. At that scratch, we could probably sign a guy to score 60ish points and score 20 a season.

    For some reason I think Nolan is playing Lindback all these games in a row in order to time the necessary Hackett starts with the weaker portion of the schedule (beginning ARI on 3/26). By my count, those seven games would include two games against ARI and one against TOR, with the last game needed against CAR. I think he didn't want to "waste" Hackett's starts on such a strong team like Boston the other night. But other than Hackett's starts, I voted to let the chips fall where they may. The team is bad, let them decide it on the ice.

    Good thing the UB Bulls game was scheduled for 2pm today. Wouldn't want to go up against the broadcast juggernaut that is the Buffalo Sabres. There might not have been a single sports fan in Buffalo watching if they were both on at the same time slot.

    It's those damn stretched out flat maps. They make you think Greenland is huge and Antarctica is the size of Asia. For some reason I thought they were further north :oops: (and I always brag I have been to every Canadian province on the border of the U.S., guess I skipped one...)

    I don't think people in Amherst are aware of public transportation. You might be alright since the game is during work hours. It will probably still be busy, but not as bad as if the game was at 7pm tonight.

    From what I have heard/read, it is more that he just really hates LA and thinks it's a scummy place, especially to raise his army of children.

    Don't say Bob M never did his homework. Liger would this interest in Blackwood also have to do with the Sabres perceived orginizational need at goalie, or do you really just like this prospect better than the other goalie prospects in previous years (to make you break your own rule)?

    I think I was just shocked to see that Calgary was a playoff team this year. I haven't paid as close attention to the top of the standings this year, but I guess I just assumed they were as good as last year :blush:
