It is a keeper but one of those silly ones where keepers are slotted in the top 6 picks. I already have those covered with top 25 players. I don't think there is much of a trade market for him at this point, but his history as a AL MVP a few years back give him more potential upside than the standard end of roster filler. He's the first guy i'll drop if I need to make a move but right now he's just a hold and watch kind of guy.

I know that I spent a good 2 years lurking and reading before my first post back in 2006. I used to use this place for Sabres news and to get the pulse of the fanbase. Being around in the shadows for that long meant I already understood and knew the 'inside jokes' around here so it wasn't so intimidating. Another point is that most of the major voices here are very knowledgeable and my uninformed opinion (back then) felt stupid to share when there were some highly detailed and in-depth points being made. I don't post everyday now because most of the time by the time I have read the thread my point has been made by another poster with more time on their hands. I would say that is a strength rather than a weakness around here.

Interested to see what the locals think of the Hamilton move. I picked him up on a flyer in fantasy and am rooting for him to play well and get his life back on track, but I assumed the Dallas folks might have mixed feelings since he did slam them after leaving.

I love Dexter and Shameless as well. I am usually very nervous about those "watch tv" sites as they are riddled with bugs and malware and the quality isn't usually worth it. I specifically remember the firstrowsports site that got shut down a whole back. Is there any one in particular that you feel most confident about?

Terrible news. My hookup to HBO Go is no longer useful as my recently divorced buddy just moved out of the house and his ex cancelled HBO to save money. Of course this timing comes midway through GoT after what everyone described here as the best episode yet. Guess I just have to pony up and pay for HBO just for the last few episodes. :death:

Because it's Andrew Peters. He made the NHL by getting punched in the face. From his life experience you have to earn being in the NHL; but he has no perspective as to how the talented people should be treated.

I think this team will be competing for the last playoff spot this year, and have a very young talented team much like the Calgary Flames of this year. They won't make it this year, but it will be fun to watch Sabres hockey again.
