That and by all accounts McDavid and Eichel are so much more talented than everyone else that it would take quite a large character flaw to pass on a talent like that. Unless he killed a guy with a trident I think we're picking Eichel.

I doubt it was intentional, but Matt & Kim are very much a younger party-vibe act as their stuff has an EDM/Alternative vibe.

I turned it on last night, and then flipped back and forth between that and regular season baseball. I think I watched more baseball than finals. I did watch the overtime though. It's not my league either. The whole sport is just waiting to see who gets to score last.

Next year Kane will be the best forward on the team. I am thinking something like 27 goals for him, but since that represents more of the total leaguewide scoring depression than my feelings for Kane, I voted top 3/30+. He will bring everything we as a fanbase have wanted from our star forward (namely Vanek) by being physical and dynamic as well as scoring goals. What does Ryan Kesler have anything to do with Kane or Eichel? You lost us bob...

Just saw Eichel walking outside of Harborcenter on his way to FNC. He was with three other prospects and a middle aged guy (team rep? volunteer?). Man is he a big guy for a teenager...

There is a surprising number of artists that are just using their actual names now. Since all the good band names were used up in the past 30 years.

I appreciate the Twitter postings when major news breaks. I don't have the time to parse through which twitter feeds are legit or not and rely on a lot of you to provide the relevant news to me. I often know breaking news in real time because I am on SS. That said, it would be great to also post a quick "That's shocking to me" or "I wouldn't have signed him for 6 years" type comment.

Surprised nobody has mentioned that we saw a lot of the NHL prospects hanging out at Canalside yesterday for the Matt & Kim concert. They were easy to spot since they were all 18yr old built guys walking in groups and often included a eastern euro wearing a ccm hat or something. One of my friends had tweeted that he ended up standing next to Connor McDavid for a while at the show. :w00t: Pretty good exposure for Buffalo to have a huge event on the water just so happen to coincide with the NHL Combine.

I have a long standing penchant for becoming a fan of fringe Sabres players, especially after trades. (as evidenced by my user name) the ones off the top of my head: -Thinking Brad Boyes was going to become a 20-30 goal scorer consistently. Just needed a change of scenery -Wanting Paul Gaustad to play in a top line role due to his faceoff prowess and physicality. Wanted that whole team to get tougher - now we can't score a goal to save our lives and it sucks. ...and of course my unabashed love and support for Cody Hodgson. He's gonna be good this year guys. :thumbsup:

I love owning my home. Then again I also knew I was going to drop serious coin on it since I bought the worst house on the block. Maybe my perspective would be different if I thought I was buying a finished product at close.
