Oh agreed. But if you spent 80% of your time gameplanning for Garappolo run offense, and 20% for the Brisket, that lost time results in some sloppy play with simple playcalling. #thebrisketgotsmoked

I'm the guy that cheers while everyone else is playing on their phones or politely conversing with friends. -
Booo! What is wrong with you? Vin Scully is the reason I get to watch baseball with my wife in the room. Yes he does get a bit wordy and tell stories, but it is in an endearing way (as opposed to the way the NBC team calls hockey where they just rattle off facts about the player's pee-wee hockey team). He is a legend in broadcasting and will be missed. He was also on the broadcast for the 49ers famous "The Catch" call The Ryder Cup was awesome this year, tons of emotion and competitiveness from some of the younger golfers on both sides (the McIlroy/Reed match especially) that made golf fun to watch. Glad to see the US finally broke the slump and took one home this year. Where is all the Vin hate coming from? Jays over Orioles on Tuesday night - I hate this one game wildcard playoffs, but they sure do make for compelling must watch TV.

Sunday 10/2 couldn't have gone any better sports-wise for me for the reasons you mentioned. And with respect to the Jays, you win against the O's on Tuesday and anything can happen in a long series. Plus the Jays starting pitching is much improved this year compared to last. ...the bullpen on the other hand.

Not going to shed a single tear for the Patriots, but that would help explain why they looked like they didn't gameplan at all for this game. In addition, there were reports by NE reporters that said Garappolo would be the starter on Saturday.

Wouldn't be the first time I sat next to an a$$hole at the Sabres game. :P this is gonna be awesome! -
This might have been the first game against the Patriots that I wasnt scared shitless that at any time the pats were going to come back and score in a moment and take over the game. They just looked terrible and out of sync all game. Great job by the Bills taking away the run and forcing brisket to be a real qb, but the pats looked terrible imo

Not the worst idea. Although I'm guessing some of our out of town members may have downtown hotels that would be kind of silly to head away from the arena for the pregame If only they had built the hofbrauhouse by next March -

got mine thanks - its a shame we have to wait until march for this to happen -
Allen Robinson routinely gets 15 targets a game. I think that is the only difference between him and Sammy Watkins (when healthy).

To be fair, these are perks I would have loved in an employer back when I was in college. So at least there's that. Good luck on the relo!

there's a reason guys like Antonio Brown, despite being no bigger or faster than any other NFL receiver, is uncover-able while some combine all-stars can't make it at all. There's a lot of subtle talent in maintaining speed in breaks, running correct routes and being elusive with footwork that isn't easily measured.

I certainly know from all my internet interactions with you that you aren't the problem here, and I went through multiple wordings of my post to not sound like a dick to you specifically, but I can't image many corporate situations where making hot toddys all day while at work is an acceptable thing, let alone a seemingly regular occurrence. I know you are trying to, but I would GTFO as soon as possible. (and here I was excited over having a pizza party this afternoon for a lunch meeting. )

for some reason I don't think drinking all day is going to help the perception of artists in the workforce :flirt:

You jerk. :censored: We had let this thread die in July and now here you are getting our hopes up again. There's like a 2% chance that tweet is even about Fowler at all. That being said if it is, oh baby let's home we're that team. Our defense is still very shaky.
-
Losing Benoit definitely hurts the bullpen, but I think our pitching is much better than last year and there's nobody more dangerous in the 2-3-4 than Donaldson-EE-Bautista. The defense is very good and the team speed is to a point where we don't need to rely on the "three true outcomes" of relying on home runs to win. To your point I am worried that they are not riding a hot streak into the playoffs, but once you get in it's a whole new ballgame.

Another Jays fan! If they can get past the one-game play in with the O's, they can do some damage again this year.

f### the leafs with Jack's excessively long stick. Seriously. Even though it is just a preseason game and half our regulars aren't dressing, I still can't stand the leafs and their holier-than-thou fanbase. -

I enjoyed the Bills v. Cardinals game that I attended in person last weekend. Tailgating & seats in the endzone suite made for a great time with my dad and his 10 or so out of town friends. I still have the games on the TV basically all of Sunday afternoon, but I do tend to find myself drifting off or doing other things while they are on. It's not getting better.

Totally in that boat as well. I actually don't mind what I do and the people I work with, just being continually underpaid and underappreciated tends to wear on you. There's only so much you can take before I start looking for alternate employment if things don't change.

Worked for me when I used the existing PM that I had sent earlier. Interesting... -
Eichel and Okposo score 30. ROR, Reinhart, Kane score 20. Ennis comes close with 18ish, but he misses games due to injury. Risto scores 15 to lead our blueline.
